great chapter...i like how you kind of still have lily hate james like in cannon and i am absolutley loving your portrayal of lily :)
Author's Response: Well, Lily did hate James in the beginning in canon, and I don't think either of them would have changed much yet, not without the influence of each other to make Lily loosen up and James start thinking about what it is like for people who *aren't* wealthy purbloods.

Ooooooohhh ohhhhhhh oooohhhh how I love this so far. You should update soon cuz it's amazing. And it got me hooked. In one chapter. Awesome. It's different too. Obviously AU, but I was wondering. Is it set in the seventies or early eighties or is it current or does it not really have a time frame? Or is it a surprise? I was just curious. Anyways, that totally rocked! Can't wait for the next ch
Author's Response: Thanks! I always like getting people hooked. I hope you continue to like it as the plot unfolds. It is set in the late 80s (Lily and James are both in their late 20s). That becomes more clear as the story progresses.
