Wooh. We had the same idea about Harry dying for Ginny. I just read this, obviously, and it was quite good. I love all of your one-shots/stories. Great job. Check out "the End of Only One Beginning" for my version, if you want.

I've also thought about the parallels JK uses and I think they are great as well. This is exactly the way I would write the Final Battle, but I think you need to be a lot more descriptive e.g. what is happening in the background, who else is falling to the ground instead of what is directly around Harry. Grammar was good, couldn't find many faults! 9/10

Great story! I have never really thought about it before but I believe you are right about Jo using parallels and that the parallels between Lily and Ginny are not an accident. We shall see!

Well it was pretty good, but I thought that Harry might have had SOME kind of reaction to Ron's death, seeing that his best friend just died, but hey, that's just me.

Author's Response: Well you have to understand, his friends and loved ones are falling all around him, and he can't just fall apart out in the open. Partly he has to get himself and Ginny out of fire which is human nature to have adrenaline in a situation like that, and partly he is so far beyond pain that no greiving can soothe him. He's in shock and nearly in a daze that he can't even process that Ron's really gone.

Sad, barely. But nice use of language, there could have been more story in the Harry-waking-up and Final-battle transaction just to build up the romance between Hr/G. 7/10
