OMG I absolutely loved this!! I think you captured everyone perfectly, including what Harry would likely be feeling. I also loved that Snape didn't outright say who it was that sent him, as well as his reaction to finding out that he had a namesake (I think that Snape's external reaction would be just as you described it)!

while the ghost of christmas is a much used topic, i find your choice of ghost to be very cool. no one can be as terse and no-nonsense as snape. and i love your choice of memories. i'm waiting for the next chapters! =D
