Chapter: Chapter One: The Early Years

Though the events in the story are pretty far from each other on the timeline (3 chapters -140ish years), they are carefully and beautifully written, along with some nice humour. As a result, the main characters' life does not seem to be fast-forwarded and the most important events in their life are not rushed throughout the chapters.
I love the story, especially the last passages of chapter 3, when Ron and Hermione each gives their thoughts in first person about things they have achieved and experienced. At the end, they are not afraid of dead, because they can finally meet all their love ones, and because they always have each other.
Thank you for Creating such a great story.

This story does Ron and Hermione more than justice! You portray them just as they are meant to be portrayed: in love, but still the old Ron and Hermione! Pure literary brilliance!

Author's Response: haha thank you very much!

I've read this story so many times and, I don't meen to sound like a baby, because I rarely cry, but this, this makes me cry every time I read it. It's the most beautiful writing I've ever read and you have an extraordinary talent. It's just so, beautiful.

Author's Response: I'll respond to this one since it looks like your review posted twice: Thank you so much for this review and your kind words. Having never written before and getting a review like yours... well it is very encouraging. I truly appreciate hearing everyone's thoughts. Thanks again!

Chapter: Chapter One: The Early Years

This is my favorite story. It was so touching! My favorite part was when they were talking about the wall of pictures at the end. It made me cry my eyes out! Not because it was sad, but because it was so beautiful!! Please write more!!

Author's Response: Thank you! I'm glad it wasn't a sad cry, I would hate to be responsible for a sad cry haha. I do have an idea or two for another story but I am beyond busy at the moment. In about a month I'll get my weekends back and have some time to sort some things out and then my life get's even crazier. I want to make sure I research thoroughly before I write something new, I don't want it to be inaccurate. But I just wanted to say that I do have some ideas, it just might take a while. And thank you again for your kind comments and I apologize in advance for the wait. Thank you so much for the review!

Great story!
Normally I enjoy longer ones, but this was a fantastic exception.
I liked the whole idea of the generations of weasleys gathering for hermione 100th birthday.
Thanks :)

Author's Response: Thank you! I just thought about all the milestone birthdays and anniversaries that my family celebrated and how many people showed up and I have a large family but not nearly as large as the Weasleys. So I thought it would be fun to have them all there. Also I really wanted to show that they are still extremely close no matter how big they get. That's why I thought it important to mention that Hermione and Ron still see Harry and Ginny often and I hope it was implied that they both see the rest of the family just as much (just not all at once like at the party). So glad you liked the story!

well its true that JK said that wizards live longer life than muggles. very long indeed. you can see the example of nichlas flamel (665).. what i meant actually was that it was too weird for me to imagine my favorite couple at the age of 150.. and one thing more.. there life isnt supposed to be so normal like you've made.. they are RON and HERMIONE dun forget.. they cant leave peacefully with each other for long time.. and also there coudnt be an adventure less life of the whole trio as the trial of the life is never finished until the end of life.. so you should have added some adventure and thrill in the story..anyway its only my POV.. there can be variance in arguments.. and apart from all that your story is really good. i appreciate that :)

Author's Response: Well I actually wanted to normalize them a bit. Make their relationship real in a way. I'm not saying they don't have their fights but as a couple grow old together, the type of fights they have change. I think in every successful marriage there comes a point when both people grow up and fights don't really happen as often. And I wanted to show that both Ron and Hermione have matured in their relationship together, especially Ron (while still keeping him Ron). And in regards to your comment about adding some adventure, that wasn't really the point of this particular story. Sure Ron could have mentioned a particularly nasty incident while he was working as an Auror or Hermione could have talked about something happening at the Magical Law Enforcement, but I intentionally kept that out of it. I just wanted to show moments of their marriage and their life together and how they evolved. That and how each of them react when facing something we all end up facing ie. kids leaving for school, death of a parent, reflecting on life, etc. Anyway I'm really glad you liked the story though! And I'm glad you appreciate it! Ron and Hermione are the best!

This was such a cute fanfic... I loved your characterisations of Ron and Hermione, they were beautiful. The fic was sort of sad in a good way... not quite bittersweet though... especially the last chapter, when everyone was getting old and dying, but you know that they'd lived happy long lives and it was really their time. I liked how in the first chapter and the beginning of the second, you showed them looking forward to life after the war, and in the later bits looking back over memories. It captured that funny thing about humans - that we're always looking either forwards or backwards.

I loved how people who died in the war - especially Fred - were present throughout your story, it showed that they were never forgotten which was really sweet.

Just one little typo I just picked up - you've written "It's sounds more morbid then it really is." It should be "It sounds more morbid than it really is."

Anyway, this whole fic was really cute and written so well, I loved it :).

Author's Response: Thank you! Yes I wanted to try to capture everything you mentioned so I'm glad you loved it haha. And thanks for the edit! I must have reread that line a million times and my eye just skipped over that typo haha. Thanks for noticing and for the wonderful comments!
