So cute! I like that the bit about Hermione involved their old age, because it always seems like the two of them are focused on while they're young. I also loved Ginny's part- you portrayed her voice very well. I'm excited to see your next "seven people" piece! :]
Author's Response: Thanks! I'm so glad you liked Ginny's part -- it kind of poured out of me and was the very first part I wrote :)
The best kind of surprise when scrolling through the Most Recent category is a new story by MagEd! And the seven women who loved Ron! Just what I wanted. Only improvement I could see would be to include me as number eight! lol
When you started the 7 series, I wanted Ron right away and you did him justice. I loved the Ginny bit and of course, Hermione. Especially that Harry would take her to the Museum - very Ron. And the fact that Ron saved George - of course he would b/c like someone else said in the reviews - he saves everyone!
Ron is my favorite, so this was bound to be good.
Thanks and please keep up the good work! I don't care how long we all have to wait!
Author's Response: Thank you! That makes me smile to read! A lot of people were asking for Ron, and I was a little nervous that it would be a let down -- I'm so glad you liked it! Hopefully you won't have to wait too long, but it's so nice to know that you don't mind waiting! And if you're number eight, then I claim number nine ;)
Oh, I'm sitting here bawling! This is just amazing, gorgeous and lots of other adjectives I'd think of if I were more coherent. I'm sending a rec to a friend of mine who doesn't understand my Ron obsession. This explains it perfectly.
Author's Response: Oh, thank you so much! I'm glad you thought it did justice to Ron :)
I sat here for a moment trying to think of some new and creative way to say how much I loved your story, but it turns out I've got nothing. Ron is my favorite. When I got on this morning and saw you had posted this, I had to close it because I didn't have enough time then to sit and really soak it up. I did that this afternoon though, and have been thinking about it all day. I've concluded that my favorites are Molly and Hermione, with the one on Angelina being pure brilliance. I was not sold on Lavendar when I saw you included her, but I love the way you went at it, with the bravery thing and Ron admitting he didn't deserve to have her fall for him.
You have a wonderful way with a sentence. I'm not sure I can articulate what I mean (perhaps I do not have a wonderful way with a sentence? hehe), but here are some examples:
She loved him because he was loyal to a Quidditch team that always lost.
This was just perfect. And it's so Ron. I loved this whole section, but this sentence said so much just by itself.
Ron saved George. I was so surprised to see Angelina's name in the list, but then I thought, of course, they are in-laws... makes sense. But oh my, this was the best one, and that from a die-hard R/Hr shipper. :D I sort of wondered at the idea that Ron could save George, but after only a moment, I realized, of course he would have been the one to do that. Doesn't Ron save everyone, if not in the most obvious way? Angelina--oh, I just loved this part.
The monsters were all scared of her daddy. I really love that in all your stories, Ron is a good husband and father. I honestly do not see from canon what other people must see that causes them to write him as this intolerant, mean-spirited git of a man who seems abusive and neglectful of his own family. There is just nothing there to support that. I always come to your fics when I want a good Ron fix. And this section on Rose shows why... yeah, he's pissed about Scorpious, but he comes around. He just comes around, because he's not that guy! He's not the 14 yrs old Ron from the Yule Ball. Oh, I loved this bit too.
She had always been his, and he had always been hers. Such a simple little sentence really, but it made me ACHE with love! Truthfully, I could go one for quite a bit longer swooning over this bit with Hermione, but I will save some small space for your other admirers. ;) Your R/Hr is exactly as I imagine them... a bit of fluff with some comedy and some coaxing and one of them talking the other around to the truth that everything is going to work out somehow.
This is my favorite, with the one on Hermione right behind. There are several writers on this site whose work I admire and love, but you really do top the list. All of you are wonderful writers, but you write the stories that I came to HP fanfiction to FIND. Which is why I can't get enough. Don't worry about taking a while between postings... your stories are always worth the wait.
Thanks for this!
(This is my most fangirly post to date, and I have no shame whatsoever. LOL.)
Author's Response: Thank you so much! I know how much you love Ron/Hermione, and I didn't want to disappoint you! Angelina wasn't one of the people that first came to mind when I set out starting this story, but the more I thought about it the more it seemed to work, and I think it's one of my own favourite sections in this -- I'm happy you liked it, too! And, yes, Ron does save everyone in his own way, doesn't he?
I cannot understand any way in which Ron wouldn't be a good husband or father -- Ron is the epitome of loyal, and its clear from the very beginning of the series that he loves his family. I simply don't think he gets enough appreciation! I'm glad you liked how he was written in this. And always feel free to fangirl away! :)
This was really beautiful, my favorite was Molly's though. It was so cute the little finger holding was just so adorable that it's exactly how I would think Molly would handle that situation. I can't wait for another seven people!
Author's Response: Thank you! I was nervous about doing justice to Molly, the mother of all mothers, so I'm glad you liked that part :)
This made me smile. :) I was able to relate the most to Hermione, and that seemed like the perfect way to end this fic!
Author's Response: Thank you! I'm glad you liked the ending!
That was so sweet! I'm glad I'm not the only one who cried! It's do nice to see a completely Ron story...he often gets over looked. Well done!
Author's Response: He does seem to be one of the characters with less attention -- I'm glad you liked and appreciated this story on him! Thanks for the review :)
I love your 7 series - and this was wonderful. Thank goodness I was at home this time and not at work like with the others so that when I started crying no one looked at me funny! This was so sweet and so touching and so you get all the characters! I think I liked Angelina's story the best - it made me love Ron just a bit more, saving George. Can't wait to read more! Debbie
Author's Response: Thank you so much! I'm glad you liked this and enjoyed Angelina's part -- I'm particularly proud of that one :)
this is so sweet and sad.
Author's Response: Thanks!b
maybe not one of my favourite "seven poeple" fics but it was still really good. i think Rose's was my favourite :D her relationship with ron was so cute but i liked angelina's too it was an unexpected choice but it fit in.
Author's Response: Thanks! I'm glad you still like it, even if it wasn't a favourite :)
I really really really should consider NOT reading you terrificly writer seven people series anymore!
I just can't help but cry my eyes out!
I loved... well. I loved all the detail and though you put into all of them.
I mean, Angelina and her loving him because of how he helped George... Or the way you put in a lot of Ginny and her relationship with her other brother and not only Ron.
Rosie (paired up with Scorpious no less, brilliant!) and the loving adorable Dad he made.
Lavender and just about EVERYTHING you wrote about her. You should know I'm not a fan of Lavender, you made me love her. The courage he gave her by mistakenly thinking she possessed it. I think that was just as brilliant as it comes!!
And all I'm saying in order to keep myself from becoming a puddle of tears again, is I loved that thing about him gettin Harry to go to the Saint Petersbug Museum with her...
I hope your muse doesn't prove as elusive for the next proyects. For what it's worth, the second tries were excellent! You keep writing, I'll keep weeping... I mean, reading!
Author's Response: Haha, I'm glad you liked it, even if it kept making you cry! Oh, and I'm especially glad you liked the part with Lavender. I know most Ron/Hermione fans don't like her all that much -- I don't like her all that much -- but I wanted to give her a fair chance in this, and I was afraid some people wouldn't think she belonged. It was delusional teenage love, but it was still love!
LOVE IT. The attention to detail was amazing - there are so many specific things from all the books here!!! So well done. Thank you, it was a fantastic read.
Author's Response: Thank you very much! I'm glad you liked it and enjoyed the details :)
I loved it!!! My favourites were Rose and Hermione, definitely. I really like these seven people fics. They're so good and they really explore the characters so well. And I love how you wrap it up, if you get what I'm saying. Like...you don't leave any loose ends or anything. The way you start it and the way you end it - it's really good. And, as usual, this was beautifully written, particularly Angelina's one.
Author's Response: Thank you! I'm glad you liked Rose's and Hermione's -- Rose's poured out of me, but I actually had a lot of trouble with Hermione's! And I'm glad you like the way it all comes together and ends. :)
So this was a lovely surprise when I randomly woke up at 5 in the morning and you had another one of these 7 people stories up! For the most part, I loved it. There were so many great, sweet moments, especially with Rosie and Molly. The final scene, the one involving Hermione's blindness, was the only one that sort of bothered me. The reason is that I'm blind myself, and all my life it has never, ever stopped me from doing anything I want, and I don't expect my family members to take extra care of me. I do know, though, that people who become blind later in life don't realize they're still capable of so much, which is terribly, terribly sad. I think, however, that it's perfectly in Hermione's character to be insecure about it, which is why I'm sort of conflicted over it. It's just an issue that I'm a little sensitive about. This isn't meant to be a flame or anything, and I still think you're a brilliant writer. And now, before this review gets horrendously long, I'm going to try and get more sleep. Keep writing! :)
Author's Response: Thank you! I'm glad it could be a good surprise! I'm sorry if it upset you at all, however. I definitely don't think those who are blind lead any lesser of a life, but having seen one of my friends lose her sight after a car accident, I think when you lose it, it can be extremely hard to adjust and to realise that you can still do as much and be as much without sight. That was a lot of what I was trying to convey. I definitely don't think this is a flame -- I very much appreciate hearing all of your thoughts!
