I really liked this story! You've written it very well, and it kept my attention all the way through. Your narrative has a really nice flow to it.

I can't really say much about the plot so far, as it's still early chapters, but I'm really curious about what James and Sirius were up to, and if James is really off to study somewhere.

Your characterisation was really good - just make sure to watch out for the slight cliche of having Remus as the bookworm who's always studying and perfectly prepared while Peter needs loads of help and never gets anything. I know that it's part of their personalities to some extent, and you didn't overdo it in this chapter - it's just something to watch out for int he future.

So yes, great start - I really enjoyed it! On to read chapter 2.
