That was stupid. No professor would take a hundred points for something stupid like fighting.
Author's Response: Professor Longbottom has many reasons to be hard on his house.
1.) A student was picked on by one of their own. This was not 'acceptable' Gryffindor v. Slytherin
2.) A class leader the Quidditch Captain was the ring leader of the attack.
3.) A large number of the students watched the incident without intervening to help the student
4.) No one attempted to get help from teacher.
5.) He is new and younger than most Heads are. He is making a point
6.) He knows what it is to be the victim of student on student attacks and he will not stand for it.
7.) He and his wife were having a romantic dinner when he got told of this stupidity by Professor MacGonagall's protrait.

I like this story. Next Generation is my favorite genre, and my favorite type of next generation stories are Scorpius Malfoy ones. Keep writing this, it is very good! One little thing though: Kreature is spelled Kreacher. Update soon please.
