Love this poem

Author's Response: Thank you! Lucius can't help having his dreams. :D

cute! how funny, it really reads like Lucius wrote it, he he I'm cracking up. So this refers to a situation in a story you wrote that involves Scorpius falling for Rose, and Lucius doing something to "interfere"? Just might have to read it. :)

Author's Response: That's a lovely compliment! I "am" Lucius when I write his pov, and it's loads of fun. Makes me wish I had a pimp cane, hehheh. I hope you will break down and read Our Little Secret (completed!) and the sequel. I think you'd enjoy Lucius' characterization, and Scorpius' too. :)

HAhaha I love this! I loved all of his...language. From interfering being applied to those who oppose him (hint: Weasleys!) to Off-the-rack wizard robes not fitting him. HA. I love Lucius. And his details. And his language. Lust masquerading as love.

Author's Response: Thank you! Lucius is the kind of "bad guy" I like. He isn't all bad, and he's funny. :D

You know I really don't like poetry but I loved this. I'm sitting here giggling, imagining the look on Lucius" face. Interfering is something a little old grandma might do while intervention is more of a professional term you'd use when trying to get a loved one away from a dangerous addiction. Excellent job of getting me to read poetry:D

Author's Response:

Lucius would classify Rose as a dangerous addiction, lol, and the interfering comment definitely touched a nerve.

I like some forms of poetry more than others, and the right poem, like the one I'm going to cut and paste in this reply, heh, can make me laugh.

Another reason why I don't keep a gun in the house
By Billy Collins

The neighbors' dog will not stop barking.
He is barking the same high, rhythmic bark
that he barks every time they leave the house.
They must switch him on on their way out.

The neighbors' dog will not stop barking.
I close all the windows in the house
and put on a Beethoven symphony full blast
but I can still hear him muffled under the music,
barking, barking, barking,

and now I can see him sitting in the orchestra,
his head raised confidently as if Beethoven
had included a part for barking dog.

When the record finally ends he is still barking,
sitting there in the oboe section barking,
his eyes fixed on the conductor who is
entreating him with his baton

while the other musicians listen in respectful
silence to the famous barking dog solo,
that endless coda that first established
Beethoven as an innovative genius.

i have a soft spot for all the Malfoys.
i believe and i hope, Lucius is a well wisher, who is taking care of Scorpious and Rose in his own twisted way.
i love the Poem by the way.

Author's Response: Thank you! You and I share that soft spot, and you're right, he's only intervening because he cares. Scorpius may wish his grandfather cared a little LESS, heh.

You know how much I love Our Little Secret and all of the outtakes ;)

Actually, this is something that Lucius would say, and exactly fits the expression that I imagined on his face when Narcissa said that. As always, you fail to disappoint ;) Love you!

Author's Response: Thank you for loving the outtakes! Lucius was NOT amused by Narcissa's comment, which probably made her smile, because she thinks he's cute when he's huffy. :D
