Well, that was just an amazing story. I loved every second of it. I plan to read the rest of your stories. I'm so glad you wrote more. I love the odd bits of humor sprinkled throughout the story. Also the way you deal with crises. It showed everything from another point of view.
Hermione is such a good politician. I was wondering how Harry found Severus' house. Loved this chapter. Can't wait to read your other stories.
That was totally wonderful. I loved how you wrote the scene where everyone found out that Severus was alive. Thanks for bringing our lovesick couple together again.
I know--you can go over and over a chapter and then once you post it a mistake shows up. I'm so glad you kept Severus alive. When he died my heart broke. There have been so many stories since (fanfic) that kept him alive that I almost believe that really happened now.:D
That was very sad even though I know you wouldn't kill off Severus. I also read summaries of your other stories and I know Severus reappears. I really liked how you wrote the Battle. I'm going to take lessons from you when I have to write my own battle scenes.
Things are getting exciting now. I wonder what Celie will end up doing. It was so sad to read about how happy some of the Order members were, knowing that before too long some of these people would be dead.
I've always thought Lucius and Severus were kind of close friends. They had to be for Severus to pay special attention to Draco and to make an Unbreakable Vow for him. Their friendship is probably the basis for the trust Severus had to place in Lucius.
That was very well done. I liked how you glided over some events but always with a clear reference back to canon. It's interesting how you tell the story but using a total outsider's viewpoint.
Maybe I'm weird but I found the way you disposed of Celie's mother kind of funny. What a way to go--not from sickness and old age but in an earthquake while dancing the tango:D I think Severus should be more honest with Celie. She's probably going crazy wondering what he thinks is going to happen.
What a horrible summer. I'd be bored out of my mind. And then to have to spend it with Peter Pettigrew. I'd probably end up sitting in my room all day. I hope Celie and Severus get to spend a little time together.
I know this was a serious chapter but there were times I laughed. Maybe it was stress laughter. I loved Celie's telling of what happened at the Ministry. That whole scene with Severus was so charming. I really enjoyed this chapter.
Severus is such a brat. He knows how sexy his voice is. His entire physical presence is the embodiment of sex:D I'm really enjoying watching his technique. A lot of people could take lessons from Snape, the greasy bat of the dungeons.
That was wonderful. I'm glad they got married but it happened kind of fast. I'm not complaining though. It's too bad they can't let anyone know they're married. To me that was the cool part--having other people know that, yes, someone chose to marry me and that we were very happy about it.
Of all times for Severus to be summoned. I can imagine how Celie felt. She was so waiting for that night. I wonder how Severus is going to explain his seeming thoughtlessness.
Author's Response: Talk about bad luck! Poor Severus's life seems to be one example after another of the adage "if it can go wrong, it will." And I really hated to disappoint Celie so much by having Severus summoned on her birthday. She was so excited - and now is so disheartened - about their relationship. Read on to see if Snape will ever be able to explain his unintentional absence... :) Smiles, Ruby Emeralds
I love Dumbledore's idea for the Muggle Studies end of the year exam. He was a little obvious about matchmaking though:D This is the 5th year when ugly stuff happened. I wonder if and how you'll incorporate that into your story. Going to Celie's is becoming an every night habit for Severus.
Author's Response: Like you, I also enjoyed the idea of Albus's plan to change the practical exam for the fifth year Muggle Studies students. Their "party" exam sounds like a lot of fun! :) Stay tuned to see how Celie's narrative is blended with the canon events in Order of the Phoenix. Thank you for continuing to read and review! :) Smiles, Ruby Emeralds
I don't know why people are afraid of relationships. Both Severus and Celie are so unsure of themselves. I shouldn't talk. I'm he same way.
Author's Response: I guess that your comment about why people are afraid of relationships harkens back to the universal human response of being frightened of the unknown. Don't worry - I promise that things will get better for our couple! :) Smiles, Ruby Emeralds
This was a wonderful chapter except when Severus was summoned. I'm glad you finally let our couple get together. I thought neiher one of them was ever going to say something acceptable to the other. I almost cheered out loud when Severus kissed Celie in front of everyone.
Author's Response: Thank you so much for your sweet and complimentary review! :) I am thrilled to know that you enjoyed the chapter, especially the mistletoe scene featuring Severus and Celie (which is a favorite of mine, too!). Although it took a while for each of them to get brave enough to admit their true feelings, at least they are both "on the same page" now!! Many heartfelt thanks for continuing to read, review, and support my writing! It means the world to me! :) Smiles, Ruby Emeralds
The scenes with Sirius were hysterical. I think he just likes to flirt. Can't wait to see what Celie gives to Severus for Christmas. That's what the fourth present is for isn't it?
Author's Response: I'm so happy to hear that you were amused by the Celie-Sirius interactions! :) I've always seen Sirius as a rakish guy, who would sweet-talk and flirt with any woman, just for the fun of it. Since he'd been in Azkaban for so long, I'm sure that he wants to make up for lost time! You are certainly a perceptive reader - more on the mysterious fourth present in the next chapter! :) Smiles, Ruby Emeralds
That was so cute. I don't think either Severus or Celie knows what they're doing in the romance area. That makes what they're doing and their excitement when something goes right all the more charming.
Author's Response: You are so correct - both Snape and Celie are clueless in the romance department, but they seem pleased with their minimal progress, so I am, too. :) Thank you for continuing to read and review the story! :) Smiles, Ruby Emeralds
I'm thinking that Celie should be glad to return to Hogwarts. Her mother is out of it and dotes on her worthless son. Jack sounded totally disgusting. Severus is just not real comfortable around women. Hopefully he'll get better at it.
Author's Response: I enjoyed your comment about predicting that Celie should be glad to return to Hogwarts. (I would, if I were her!) As to Celie's repulsive brother, I agree wholeheartedly with Snape's opinion on the subject - like him, I am also thankful that I'm an only child! :) Give Severus some time...his disposition toward Celie will improve! Thanks for the review! :) Smiles, Ruby Emeralds
