pretty good chapter i'm glad anna got some info about her father, i wonder if alex is going to throw abraham under the bus, can't wait to find out
Another amazing chapter! Fell down the stairs, hmm. And Alex-its not good that she hids her intense emotions so easily. Reminds me of Harry a bit. And it looks like the Grimms are having trouble between them, thats interesting. The bit about the wand not working-how tantilizing. What could that be about? thron is horrible but so is the confederation-not charing Anna's dad for six months! Poor Anna, something needs to change. And Alex's thoughts in the end were my thoughts before. Thorn should be turned it but the confederation isnt much better and he is her father. ....thanks!
oh my god!!! I was not expecting that-maybe she would be petrified or whatever like the boy. but not dead. i guess she saw too much. how awful for alexandra to find. She is already damaged as it is. i like how the chapter was relatively light than boom at the end. Innocence is annoying but i understand what she is doing. so sad that alex cant recognize the sisters. i want alex to care more about anna but i see how she is consumed. and our first reference to the regiment. could it be a team down to the lands below? hmmm great work!
wow, who is this ghost or whatever. i can't wait for fridays chapter to see if alex gets kicked out or what
That was an evil cliffhanger!!! Ahh!!! I want to find out what happens! Alexandra is going to get in sooo much trouble. She hasn't even been doing as much stuff as the other years, but trouble seems to keep finding her... she really is a trouble magnet. What killed Ms. Gale? Why was she down there to begin with? Will Alexandra get expelled? I can't stand the suspense...
Shaisse!!! But what on Earth was Ms. Gale doing all by herself down there!?!?! And just about how is Alexandra going to explain being down there!?
I hope she doesn't get expelled? Maybe they want to keep it quiet? Gosh, gosh, gosh!!! Alex!!?!?! What did you get yourself into!??!!
So why would the ghost, whether it's Max or not, attack Benjamin and the elves? If it is Max, I suppose he would be angry at elves, even though the house elves are very different from those in the Lands Below. But why Benjamin? And why wouldn't he show himself to Alexandra? Is ghost sickness something the ghosts can voluntarily inflict, or an involuntary side effect? It doesn't particularly sound involuntary, based on Angelique's remarks and Alexandra's own experiences with ghosts. Hmmm...in any case, somebody had better explain to Mordecai that Alexandra didn't curse his brother or there's going to be lots of trouble...
real slow start but what an ending who is the ghost and what is it doing can't wait for the next chapter i look forward to every monday and friday to read the story
Nice chapter, good turn of events. The Rashes soooo deserved it. Certainly MORE than the poor elves!!
I smell a Quick version of the D.A. in the making. Would be a nice one for Innocence and William, sure could use a hand. BTW, I so like Innocence!! She rocks.
I'm a bit weary for her, though, Darla knows her toad, now... :S She better behave!
And, I'm really thriving for news from Anna's Dad. Couldn't she go to the Deans or something? I do want to know how this turns out. I suspect he might actually go Dark, out of spite towards the bitchy Confederation, after all. Just imagine that, Mr. Chu fighting side by side with Abe Thorn... *evil laugh* Priceless. ^_^
Loved the chapter!!
the Cat-In-The-Box Failsafe Principle that apparently had nothing to do with either cats or boxes
Was Schroedinger a magical theorist?
I don't have much to say - I just wanted to let you know that I love Innocence! What a character in every sense of the word!
Alex is growing up, I half expected her to right away open the door to the lower basement. So she first wants to find the ghost and question him?
This is developing wickedly fast. Great story.
poor alex having to to do JROC again but at least she's still at school and what is that green slim going down to the lower basement. I love Innocnece she's just too funny, can't wait for the next chapter
HECK YEAH!!! Wanted to say something else, but wanted to keep the post clean for all ages?! I was HOPING alex would open a can of whoop %*# on those rash twins....I like how this book is turning out and am going daily to your page to look for updates so I can greedily read them at my leisure.
Brilliant! I'm finding it increasingly difficult to not check for new uploads every ten minutes!
Enjoyable. As always cant wait for the next chapter.
bloody hell, what an ending. what is the dean gonna do to alex now, she's quite the dueler. david is pretty whipped, i really can't wait for the next chapter, i love this story already
What a gripping chapter. Innocence is shaping up as quite an unozarky, superentertaining character, and C & F started showing some backbone, too. I just hope Innocence is not just a prop, but becomes really part of teh story.
By the way, a seven-sided shape is a heptagon, not a septagon. Unlike most spells, this comes from Greek, not Latin.
Septagon is the more common term, but heptagon is also used.
Innocence does have a role to play in the story. Thanks for the review!
Oh, Alexandra. She's going to try to change what happened when Max died, isn't she? Really stupid idea... but I really hope she succeeds. I liked Max. Interesting piece of gossip about Darla's older sister. Will we be hearing more about her later?
Insert Doctor Who theme :D
