Chapter: Rudolf the Red Nosed Snorkack

hahaha:)
Merry Christmas to you too!

Author's Response:

Thank you very much for your review. Forgive the delayed reply but I've not been onsite for a long while. Glad you enjoyed this random spot of Luna-ism and I hope your own festive season was a great one too :)

That was really cute and funny. A really good play on Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer.

Author's Response: Hello Soraya, wow, don't know which one's cooler - your pen-name or your real one! This was a sort of Luna fied version of the original Yuletide favourite, rewritten last Christmas when I was in a festive mood. I think Luna would have had a lot of fun singing this around Hogwarts - she certainly would have made people do a double-take with her version ... *snorts* Thanks for R & R-ing, M ;)

Bwahahahahahaha!

Merlin's twisted knickers, you're brilliant! I just love how you can take something as random as a Snorkack, give it a backstory, and do so in such wonderful fashion. I really have no words for it. I do wish that you did more parodies, because you're a supreme talent at it. Bravo!

Grins and giggles,

Jess

Author's Response:

Hello Jess,

gosh, I'm REALLY sorry that I haven't responded to your reviews earlier. I don't always get notification from mnff that one has arrived and I just logged in after a break to find I had 8 unanswered reviews ...

*sheepish grin*

Wow, you really like your song parodies, don't you? Actually, I rather enjoy writing them :) It's an absolute gas matching an HP moment with a well-known hit and seeing what happens. Fortunately, I've been lucky so far in my song selection ...

This one was really a tribute to Luna. I think she would've enjoyed waltzing around Hogwarts belting this one out to anyone who'd listen! She's such a sweetie!

And so are you :) Thanks again for R & R-ing and making my day :)

This one is amazing. It is so good. The rhyming was amazing. Everything fit well together. I can't choose my favorite stanza because they are all amazing. This one also has a nice story in it. good job. : )

Mreey Christmas!

Author's Response:

Hello ron lover,

Wow, thank you! I wrote this one for a laugh after I came back from Midnight Mass (so, as you can imagine, it was VERY late - or early, depending on how you look at it). We all know that the HP world has a version of another Christmas classic 'God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen', except 'gentlemen' is replaced by 'hippogriff', so I wondered what other yuletide tunes they may have amended for their own world. Luna's love of Crumple-horned Snorkacks sprang to mind and it seemed like a good way to account for the elusiveness of her favourite creatures as well (haha), so 'Rudolf the Red Nosed Reindeer' got the Lovegood treatment!

I'm chuffed to bits that you liked it so much!

Thanks for R & R-ing. I hope you had a lovely Christmas and that your New Year is a happy and safe one, too.
