I must apologize as I hadn't noticed that you had posted a new chapter until I was cruising around checking up on different authors and found your new chapter. So now I have an example of going through security systems. I guess I wasn't being very creative in my thinking before. I was only thinking about airport security and I was wondering why a wizard would fly. How horrible to be rejected by the group that you worked so hard to be a part of. Claudia's boyfriend's family doesn't sound very nice either. Great chapter and I'll try to be more diligent about looking for new postings:D
I lost track of this story and I'm glad I found it again. I think I had your pen name in my notes somewhere but I have so many notes:D Poor kid--had to go to a back alley spell caster. It's nice to see magical folk are discriminated against in the same way non-magicals are. I loved the comment Ganesh made about cooking--those spells are hard, right after he'd performed a surgical spell:D Now what kind of secure area would wizarding people be going through? Your last sentence is very interesting. So, a transgendered person hasn't really changed physically but is merely wearing a disguise in the wizarding world? Wow. Great chapter.

I was kind of thinking of those spells at Gringotts in book seven that wash away all magical enchantments. Since we Americans are much more paranoid than the English, I thought maybe stores would have those kinds of spells on their entrances.
I thought this would be really interesting. It's sure a creative idea--one I've never thought of. I can't wait to read more. I hope Jason figures out what is going on with himself soon. I would think this is a painful thought or decision, whether you're magical or non-magical. I also hope that Shekina remains a friend. I've read other fan fiction where the characters are gay or bisexual but never transgender. Great chapter and hope you update soon.
