That was a really really really awesome story! Your characterisation of Drell and Sep was excellent..the way they communicated with letters was really sweet. The dilema that drell faces pretty much through the story was handled very well. Pls consider writing a sequel ;)

Normally I only enjoy reading the stories with characters from the actual books because their personalities are more developed but you did amazing with Sep and Drell! I actually feel as though I am Drell sometimes and this story has given me hope that one day I'll have my own Sep who will show me exactly what you so beautifully showed in this story!! Showing the progression of their relationship through their letters was so sweet especially when you start to see Cedrella open up to him through them. Hope to see more!! ~D.

I absolutely love this story I have now read it twice and I'm definitely not sick of it. I think you should write a sequel to it or at least another story set back in those times or even earlier, that would be great. Anyway awesome story=D

I'm sort of crying right now haha. I'm completely torn between undescribable happiness and a desperate sadness because I want this story to continue! But I think the happiness is winning :)
This is the best fanfic I have ever read and there is no way for me to thank you enough for writing it. I apologize for the late review btw, but I had a number of AP tests to study for and I wanted to make sure I had the time to properly write something.
There are sooo many great things about this story that I don't even know where to start! First off, I'm glad Charis' bit had an ending - although I'm sad she didn't end up with Lucifer like she wanted :( It seems she truly grasps the meaning of a pureblood family now. Her transition from the beginning of the novel to now is crazy! She went from annoying little obedient sister to understanding self-sacrificing sister.
Now for Sep and Drell! Squeeee! I'm so happy they are together and happy and going to be married!!!! Oh and her book is getting published! And Pepper is walking her down the aisle! Ah, it's just too much joy to handle. You created their characters perfectly. Cedrella is by far the most interesting character I've read about in a fanfic. Her state of mind is so interesting! For a couple of chapters I just wanted to strangle her for not choosing Sep faster, but her transition was pretty quick for someone so dedicated to her family. I love that she is smart and has a gift with owls. And I love that she chose Sep. :) Speaking of Sep...he is beyond adorable! His proposal made my jaw drop! How sudden first of all, and second, how awesome! I will count myself lucky if I get proposed to half as well as he proposed to Cedrella! :) It makes me happy how his family accepted Drell too...haha the wedding invite is awesome. Their whole relationship from start to finish is epic. The meeting in the owlery and the secret rendevous around school and the valentines day meadow trip!
Oh man, here come the tears again. I seriously wish you could continue this story for the rest of my life! Everything about it is just SOOO GOOD! I hope you continue writing fanfics! I'll be checking your page regularly to see if any new stories pop up! You are seriously talented. Thank you soooo much for writing this perfect story.

I cannot thank you enough for writing this....Seriously, this might be in my top three favorite stories on MNFF. I feel like I know Drell and Sep and everyone, and it's so perfect because this could have easily happened in canon. This story is really powerful...Especially Charis' letter in the epilouge...for some reason it literally brought tears to my eyes. I feel so bad for her, not getting the thing she really wanted in life. I really do hope you write about these characters in the future, it's been great reading this all week.

Author's Response: Thank you so much! I'm glad you've enjoyed the ride as much as I did when I was writing it. I'm making no promises for more stories but I do have a few ideas for one-shots, so we'll see! You never know. Thanks again for reading and (thoughtfully) reviewing, you're awesome!

I just had to review this because you quoted AVPM at the beginning... well actually that's not the only reason, this is a great story.

You show the context of this story well - as far as I can figure out from the family tree, it's the early/mid 1930's, but you show the way the Purebloods are trying to hang onto something which is really going out of fashion here... if that makes sense. As in, their balls are as formal as what you'd expect in a Jane Austen novel, not something set just before the beginning of World War 2. Which I think is very realistic, because even in canon the Purebloods try to hang on to their old-fashioned society.

Cedrella is an interesting heroine - I wonder what her thoughts are on muggleborns. Because you've shown here that the whole idea of marriage and Pureblood society repels her, but I'm looking forward to seeing her reaction to muggleborns at Hogwarts.

And Charis is very sweet and lovely, but I have this feeling she's going to turn into a trophy wife for some rich Pureblood (Caspar Crouch actually). Their relationship is a little how I imagine Sirius and Regulus to be, though obviously their personalities are very different.

Anyway. That was a bit off topic. Great start for a story :).

I SERIOUSLY LOVE THIS. I can't wait to see what happens. This is so believable it's great. It reminds me of something...The Notebook? Titanic? I can't remember. OH WELL doesn't matter. I really hope you write another story about Sep&Cedrella.

I've been following this story for a year now, and I LOVE it! Sep and Drell are, without a doubt, my favorite characters that we don't meet in the books. I think the letters tied up the story nicely, but I really would have liked to see Drell spending more time with the Weaselys. Of course, I'd also like to see the wedding, their kids, and anything else you'd care to write about them. So consider this a shameless plea for more!

Author's Response: Thank you so much! I'm glad you've enjoyed it. I have a few ideas for one-shots about their future life swimming around in my head, but nothing definite yet... so maybe!! :)

Aww. I'm so sad that this story is over! This was very good and I loved every little bit of it. You're a very good writer. I hope you can find it in you to write a sequel or something else along the lines of this. Once again, great story! :D

:') Aww..... I loved it. I loved it all. You are a fantastic writer, and this is now filed in my mental canon. I especially loved how she asked Pepper to walk her down the aisle, too. One quick question: why did Aberforth call Pepper Goldilocks? I can now officially say that this is my favorite fanfiction of all time. Thanks for being such a wonderful writer and writing such a beautiful story! It would be awesome if you did other little stories with Cedrella and Septimus, but if you don't, that's alright too. Awesome story!

Author's Response: Thank you so much! I'm glad you liked reading it as much as I liked writing it :) Aberforth's nickname for Pepper was just a joke, in my head they're friends who just don't like to admit they like each other, and Pepper has long blonde hair, so that's the only reason. Thanks for reading and reviewing!!
