Thanks!!! Really enjoyed this fic, thought it captured Dumbledore, who is often a simplified to just the wise old man in fanfics.
The idea of the photo of being taken to Voldemort is great, clears up a lot, Wormtail is often seen as someone who just gave out James and Lily's position when threatened so this twist not only explains how deaths in the order, but reminds us Wormtail wasn't forced or anything. He made his decision.
And Remus... Just perfect. The brooding, the regret, the guilt (protecting Harry, like he should have James), and his protective nature towards Harry.

Ahh, very convincing story, Terri. Poor Remus with his box of memories (and even the box was given to him by Lily). He gets scant comfort from them ... but at least it's some comfort. I loved the Sirius/Lily picture. It was actually so obvious that it was just a natureal moment between the pair of them ... but Remus is clutching at any reason.
I loved the way you inter-wove Dumbledore's request into Remus remembering all the good and bad times. Dumbledore certainly knew his man, and knew how to persuade (or manouvre) him into accepting the post.

AH! Love it!!! I always wondered, how did Remus handle that? From what he knew, one of his few close friends murdered the all the others in cold blood. I mean can you imagine? I don't think I could survive something like that. I love the way you wrote this. To go through all his memories, searching for a reason, but never able to find one. And "If anyone would have cause to feel neglected by the rest, it would have been Peter..." nice hint, lol. I'm gonna stop babbling now, but I LOVE your lightbulb moment!
Terri! I just wanted to pop in and say that I thought you did a marvelous job showing Remus' internal struggle. I loved how he seemed to be convincing himself that Sirius was the Death Eater although I could tell deep down that he didn't believe it.
The photos were a very nice touch. I actually cried at that part. The part with the little box was so creative and a lovely touch.
Over all I loved this story, and I think you did an excellent job.
