Love the story. I love your chapter stories I am going to find the other tonks Remus ones noe

This was one of the most amazing AU fiction I've read. I mean it. I'm very critical if the story isn't the same as in the book and it's a miracle that I read it all... and I do not regret it, at all!!! It's so wonderful. I want to believe they didn't die :) I'm definitely going to check out your other stories. You are awesome. I would be very pleased if you'd write more stories about „young werewolves and their professors“ :) And X-men rock as well. not as much as Remus and Tonks but well enough. Thank you so much for sharing your imagination with us.

Author's Response: Thank you for giving an AU story a chance! Since Jo allows fan fiction, it's practically canon that there are other dimensions of the Potterverse where events can happen differently (that's my story and I'm sticking to it, anyway). ^_^

Absolute brilliance! I think the school-for-werewolves idea is really cool. It makes a lot of sense, too. Tonks and Lupin will do an excellent job of running it... You know, this might actually be one time when it's good for my imagination to run wild. Lol. :) I loved it!!!
Happy Writing,

Author's Response: Absolutely, let your imagination run wild. Thank you for all your cheering reviews, Iri.

Yay! There's an epilogue! Epilogues are usually a good idea. Things should never be left to the imagination with imaginations like mine around. Beautiful story. What I thought would be a difficult read actually turned out to be an easy one. All 13 chapters in one sitting. :)

Author's Response: All 13 in one sitting? That might be a record. Thank you! *throws confetti*

You and your cliff-hangers. I'd narrow my eyes if I didn't need to read the chapter. Lol. This is a really good story. I wish I had read it sooner, but I'm also glad I finished "Waiting for the Moon" first.

Author's Response: Cliffhangers are necessary evils. :D I believe everyone reads stories at exactly the right time, and, who knows, maybe I didn't see your review earlier because I didn't need the cheering effect, then. Hmmm....

This is going to be a difficult read. I'm glad Tonks is alive. And if death can't stop true love, Remus must be alive as well... But Bellatrix is alive, too. Oh well, you quoted Princess Bride. I couldn't stop reading if I tried. :)

Author's Response: Yay for you not being able to stop reading! I wish the site didn't have a glitch that kept them from sending the review alert...or maybe it was my stupid hotmail account...grrr...this would have been a lovely Christmas present. I'll have to consider it a belated Valentine instead. :)

I'll admit, I had doubts about this story at first, but I really enjoyed it overall. I found the epilogue to be a bit too over-the-top, but the fic's really well written :) good work!

Author's Response: Thank you so much for taking a chance and reading the story! I knew when I was writing the epilogue that, as fun as a Werewolf Academy sequel might be, I probably would never write it, but I couldn't resist giving Remus and Tonks a challenging and rewarding future, at least in this AU dimension of the Potterverse. :)

That was really great! Shortish but not TOO short. More like, a perfect length. (Not that I don't ADORE your longer fics) happy endings are awesome :D

Author's Response:

As Tonks would say, Ta, Thanks! :)

I know some people refuse to read AU, but to me the Potterverse contains infinite dimensions and I'm glad I could give Tonks and Remus a happy ending in this one.

I just got the Rosencrantz and Guildenstern thing. I really should read A/N's...

Author's Response:

You got it, that's all that matters, although I agree about A/N's, heh. I consider mine infotainment. :D

Well, that was wonderful. It was a happy ending, full of hope and future plans--you know how I love my plans. At the same time, if you want to continue with more stories, you can. What a super way to spend Bellatrix's gold. It's so good to see the Black family redeem themselves and contribute to the welfare of half-blood beasties:P Bella must be proud--not--she's rolling in her grave. What a perfect thing for Remus to do and I really couldn't see Tonks go back to being an Auror. Excellent job of wrapping up this series of books. You know, I think this is how Remus and Tonks will live in my world. You've done such a great job of keeping them in character but developing them more. It's now hard to believe that JKR had them die in the Battle for Hogwarts. I will see you around somewhere soon.

Author's Response:

You know me and my soft spot for Slytherins. I'd like to think Bella, now that she's on the other side of the veil and not blinded by Volde-love, smirks with pride to think her short-term "daughter" misappropriated funds and thumbed her nose at the Ministry by starting her alternative magical school...even if it's for werewolves.

They didn't die in this dimension of the Potterverse, which is all I have control over. I can be content with that.

Thank you so much for reading and giving such wonderful in-depth reviews. You prove that quantity + quality = brilliance.

So many amazing things happened in this chapter. Very good idea to return to the claw-footed bathtub. It led them to renewing their vows and memories that they were together before her memory lapse. I felt so pleased that she remembered some of her friends' names--but she did have pictures that Bellatrix had left her. I prefer to think she remembered on her own. I felt bad for her reaction towards Kreacher but then I remembered that Kreacher contributed in a big way to Sirius' death. You know, as ornery as I can be I still hate to see people being mean to other people even if they deserve it. I prefer to believe that people are good and even the worst of us deserve redemption. Finally, there was that horrible baby-talk scene with Bellatrix--not that you wrote it horribly but it's an accurate portrayal of her personality. Sirius' appearance as Snuffles was wonderful. Tragic that he wasn't her Christmas present:D I loved how you went from that scene from her childhood when she told Andromeda that she'd hate her forever to the current scene when she told her mother that she'd love her forever. Excellent chapter. Very skillfully done.

Author's Response:

I believe the worst of us deserve redemption, too, but even though Tonks could understand why Kreacher did what he did, she couldn't live under the same roof with him. Bellatrix used her baby talk with wicked effectiveness, and I'd rather write her pov than Voldemort's any day--at least she HAS emotions.

I think every mum has heard "I hate you--I'm sorry, I love you" from her daughter. If someone hasn't, her daughter is either too young, heh, or thinking it instead of saying it! :D

Ta, thanks!

It's so good to see other members of Tonks extended family at Grimmauld Place. I think, in time, the people and the place will help her remember. I could picture the two house elves sitting across the table from each other, chins in the air with an 'I'll show you' attitude. I can't imagine not remembering so many things but just catching glimpses and grabbing at the edge of those memories only to have them float away. Can only the person who put the memory charm on take it off? I only ask because Hermione did the same to her parents and will be removing the charms. Yet, Remus plans to bring a healer in--with Harry's help. It's good to have friends in high places:D I still say it's great that Tonks has all of Bellatrix's gold in a couple of vaults. I'm so mercenary:D Excellent chapter.

Author's Response:

There are so many different kinds of memory charms it all depends on what kind were cast, so the person who cast it would definitely be able to rescind it more easily. In time, I can see Kreacher and Gitta becoming like-to-bicker friends, :D, but right now, their chins are absolutely in the air...when Kreacher isn't trying to look down his nose, heh.

I'm the one who had Bella set Tere up with vaults, so I'm with you. Gold is good, especially when it's used for the good of others!

You and your damn cliffies. This was such a wonderful chapter. I'm teary eyed. They were so close. I can only imagine the pain when Tonks regains her memories. I think she's going to feel bad over some of the things she said and did while she was under Bellatrix's memory spells. It's so heart wrenching that she remembers how Remus feels and how it feels to be with him, but she's still confused. I think she kind of knows what the reality is but still doesn't understand how someone could do what Bellatrix did. Excellent chapter. Now I've got people to meet with. Talk to you later.

Author's Response: Tonks coped by holding onto what Bellatrix told her and now she's having to face that it's a lie. Lucky for her, she's got Remus to anchor her to the true reality...and the floor... ;)

I didn't read the first ending so this one seems perfect. Do house elves usually have a good sense about people? Gitta certainly seems to. I almost felt like she knew who Remus really was. Then she reminded me of an accusing child with her "but you said . . . he was hungry." "Will he be able to talk after he eats?" Simple, yet knowing what's up. I smiled sadly when Tere thought that Lupin looked as proud as if Ori was his son and tried to imagine Snape looking at him like that--and couldn't. I'm glad that Remus just came out and told her who she was. Subconsciously she knows as shown by her "sleepwalking." Excellent chapter.

Author's Response:

It was the summary for the story I changed, and I'm so glad I did because I only meant to imply Tonks would plan revenge...not that she'd turn truly Dark and hurt people!

House-elves are amazing beings, wise and child-like at the same time. It took a lot of years of abuse for Kreacher to become the way he was. Makes me hope Harry really did put a canvas and a soundproof spell over Mrs. B to immure her painting.

I can't wait to see what Tere has planned for Remus. He's in for quite the story. Fortunately he cast a Shield Charm before walking up to her and he will find out where they live if he lets the house elf take him home. I loved what she did to various Order members. they weren't mean things but memorable. Her feelings toward Bellatrix are strange. On the one hand she feels bad because no one will be mourning her "mother." On the other hand, she really has no internal memories or feelings about Bellatrix either. Does Tere realize or question why she's involved with Dark magic--why she's basically playing mean pranks on people? Or does she have no concept of right or wrong at this point? Great chapter.

Author's Response:

Tonks is definitely "conflicted" about her "mother"! It's really a tribute to Andromeda that Tonks feels she should honor Bella's wishes and feel sadness that she died. Also, Tonks has enough friends and ex-partners on the dodgy side for her to accept that you can care for someone and not their politics--even though right now she thinks it's because her parents and husband were Dark.

She can't find it in herself to hurt people, so revenge became pranks. Fred would've approved. :D

Speaking of patterns in behavior, didn't Tonks try calling Remus 'Wolfie' at one time but he didn't like it? I wondered that if Remus was watching for Tonks, would he recognize her if she were disguised but I'm sure he'd recognize her scent. The bank scene was interesting. For one thing I suffer from the same malady as Jerry--if I get into a line it's guaranteed to go nowhere. I wouldn't have thought to analyze the location of the vault as an indication of its age. Very clever. At least, Remus has seen Tonks and knows she's around. The wedding/diary incident was sad in a way. Did Bellatrix really think she'd be a mother one day and that her daughter would play with Andromeda's daughter? Was she going to have a baby in between her Death Eater activities? It also showed that the sisters got along at one point if Andromeda was attending Bella's wedding and even had the honor of holding up her dress while Bells used the loo:D I do like the name Terebellum, by the way. Excellent chapter.

Author's Response: Remus didn't like her calling the wolf "Wolfie" in the HBP story...that whole jealous-of-himself thing. :D Bella was quite progressive for her time, fancying the idea of herself as a working mum, heh. Thank you for liking the name, I didn't have a lot of choice since there aren't many stars you can shorten to go with Tonks.

All I could think was that Tonks could use a house elf to maintain her sanity. She'd have someone to talk to and even the best of babies can drive one nuts on a bad day--she'd have somone to hand off childcare to. There's always the slight possibility that the house elf might even be able to fill in some of the blanks--maybe she knows some members of the Order, the Black family, or anyone. I'm sure the wizarding world is a small one. I smiled, sadly, when Tonks remembered telling someone else that it was his turn to get up with the baby. The thought of Severus doing that was sweet. I chuckled at the picture of a loving mum sitting with her 'precious' Death Eater son listening to a Quidditch match on the wireless--not a care in the world. Hopefully, Remus and company will be going "who the hell is Terebellum Black?" and start putting some of the pieces together. Great chapter.

Author's Response: Are you implying your children drove you nuts? :D I think every woman--even those without kids--could use a house-elf. Forget "a chicken in every pot." The wizard politician who was for "a house-elf in every home" would rack up the REAL votes!

I was briefly excited when Remus and crew went to Knockturn Alley. I thought, what if Tonks was looking out the window and recognized Remus--but then, she thought of him as the enemy didn't she? I'm so mercenary--I thought, at least Tere has access to the Lestrange vault. That's gotta be a lot of gold. Crantz and Stern are so funny. It's hard to believe that they get anything done. The good bye letter from Bellatrix was to the point, I guess. I snorted at the part where she assured Tere that her last thoughts were of her and her grandson. Sure they were. Great chapter.

Author's Response:

Crantz and Stern get a lot done by delegating to junior Aurors, hehheh. Remus is grateful they care and that they'll move their arses when they need to, :D.

Bellatrix was a conniving witch to the end!

Name: Fynnsmom (Signed) · Date: 04/21/10 10:46 · For: Dark Challenge
I love that you brought back Jerry and Stern and Crantz. On the other hand, I don't blame Remus for thinking that he'd look for Tonks and Teddy himself. It should tell Tere something when she has to refer to Voldemort as You-Know-Who but she did have those feelings of revulsion earlier. I liked how you made the Snatcher sound like an addict but used "wizard" language instead--how he was looking for a Potions dealer, how the Potions made him cotton-mouthy, etc. I also liked how you had Tere morph into someone who sounded strangely like Luna--but she couldn't remember why:D I wish I hadn't restricted myself to one chapter a day. Great chapter.

Author's Response:

If an apple a day keeps the doctor away, what does a chapter a day keep away? :D

Thank you for liking the implication that he was a wizard addict! Magical drug use isn't talked about in the books, but human nature being what it is, I'm sure there are potions that could send you on a trip only a memory charm would make you forget!

Name: Fynnsmom (Signed) · Date: 04/20/10 14:13 · For: Dark Places
I smiled, sadly again, a couple of times. Once, when Tere mentioned to the person whose Floo she was using that Belletrix was her mother--and she wondered if her mother knew how rude the man was. Again, when Tere wondered if her son looked like her and then told him he was fortunate that he had her nose (rather than that of her husband, Severus). You have to feel bad for Andromeda. She lost so much in the war. I felt sad for Bella thinking she'd never feel a mother's anguish. We know that both good and bad come with motherhood. You always include all of these little nuances in your stories that add so much feeling. Great chapter.

Author's Response:

At least in this story, Andromeda loses her loved ones only temporarily, not until she joins them beyond the veil. Whenever I felt like I was being rough on her, I reminded myself of that. :D

Thank you for being sensitive to nuances!
