Fantastic chapter. I love Ron, Harry, and Hermione having their own table in the corner of the Ministry dining hall, complete with their tell-tale banter and bickering. Despite how much our characters have grown up, the scene offered a sense of wonderful familiarity. The cliff-hanger ending is making me sweat, and I like the addition that Harry (but not Ron) was invited to Draco's wedding.
Ah hah! A familiar adversary then? Fantastic. I'm also interested in your hints at Harry's thorough repulsion at using the Killing Curse. I'm wondering where that might be leading, and how that might affect him... like the detective that has to kill someone for the first time to save their partner. Still loving this, on to the next chapter!
Can't wait for the next chapter! I'm hooked already! :)
WOW, i'm as into your story as i am when i'm reading j k rowling lol can't wait for the next chapter, i do hope draco is ok too.
HA! I see it now. The reference to 'expelliarmus' was the little hint at Smith. Drat, I totally should have seen that, lol
::slaps forehead with palm::
Wow, I didn't see that coming. Smith? I always knew he was a tool, but wow again.
The plot thickens, and yet again, I find myself anxiously awaiting the next chapter. I hope Draco's ok. :-/
Author's Response: Yep, I thought it might have come as a surprise. But the clue was in Harry's dream in the previous chapter - I took a direct quote from what Smith said to Harry during the DA meeting in book 5, which is what Harry was subconsciously remembering in his dream. I'm only half way through the next chapter and have a busy week ahead, but hopefully in will be up in the next couple of weeks... I hope it will be worth waiting for, there's some good action and more revelations in the next chapter
I hope really hope it is SMith, I don't like him.
Ahhhhhh! Nail-biters and cliffhangers! I love the story development, and I can't wait for the next chapter.
Ah, now the tale gets strange and twisted...perfect! Well-formed and beautifully articulated, this story is. Can't wait to read more. :-)
Author's Response: Thanks a lot! Glad you like it. I've got two more chapters already written, but I've been a little demotivated recently - I've not written for about a week - so thanks for the review, gives me more motivation!
I'm excited for this story. There is so much that is left unsaid from the time that Harry left Hogwarts and his children attended, and I can't wait to read more. Thank Godric for the Bookmarking function. :-)
Great start. looking forward to the next update.
Great start. looking forward to the next update.
What a wonderful beginning! I was immediately caught up in the intensity of the moment... wondering if it were a dream, a training simulation... but the fact you made it reality is that much more exciting. Looking forward to more!
Author's Response: Thanks, I'm glad you liked it! I hoped the reader would be wondering what was going on at first because I wanted to dive (no pun intended) straight into the action and then do the explaining afterwards.
wow great first chapter. please keep up the story i really love it.
Author's Response: thank you ! I've already written two more chapters so hopefully they'll be up soon
