Haha Harry did marry a redhead :)
This is so beautiful. Lily's emotions are captured perfectly. It's so devastating that they do die the next day. This is so so beautiful.~Nidhi
Author's Response: Hello Nidhi! Emotions are a hard thing for me to write, so I'm glad I got them right. It really is a shame. While it is upsetting, being so young and fighting a war, I don't hate that they died; rather, I hate that they were betrayed. I admire the Marauders, and I would love to have what they had: an intense friendship. And to see that thrown away is what's devastating. I know this story is mostly about Lily, but we get a small look into James and Sirius. I just don't know why (well, I do, but it doesn't mean I /understand/) he would do that to two of his greatest friends. Sorry, that turned into a small rant. Thank you so much for the compliments, and thank you for reading!
Very interesting. I've never seen a story quite like that. Just before Lord Voldemort murders James and Lily Potter. Thank you for writing.
Author's Response: Well thank you! I'm glad you haven't read stories like this before! I figured there would be many of them out there. Thank you for reading!
It is a beatiful little story, pretty much of what happened in the Potter´s last days, the thoughts of Lily are very sad, but real. Knowing that almost everything she´s thinking will come true in a close future is very devastating. I loved the read head detail :).
Author's Response: I'm actually glad that you thought it was devastating. I'd actually be happy if a reader felt any emotion to what I wrote at all. Thank you for taking the time to read and review. :)
This is such a sweet story. It's one of the best I've ever read. I love love love all the details about Harry; he sounds way too adorable. This story is really perfect (with the exception of one misplaced comma, but that doesn't matter).
Author's Response: Thank you so much! I think baby Harry was adorable as well. I was a little worried about him, because that's the only baby that I've written, and probably will ever write. Oh, could you tell me where the mistake is? I would really like to fix it. Thank you for reading and reviewing. :)
i am grateful to have read this chapter, it's artistic made for a good reading, good romance, there's the innocent, i.e., good rather than evil perspective towards everyday events.....almost felt like reading Jo R
Author's Response: That is quite the compliment! Wow, I don't know what to say to that other than thank you! I'm glad the story was worth your while. :)
This is beautiful, I absolutely love it. Thank you.
Author's Response: No, thank you! Thank you for taking the time to read this! I really am grateful.
I think I am going to cry. This is most fanominal, a genuine piece of art. I love this one shot. I think you mastered the one shot with finality. I do not need more.
Author's Response: Wow. That is quite the review. Thank you so, so much. I am deeply grateful for this review. I truely am happy that you enjoyed the story.
Heartbreakingly beautiful! Excellent work
Author's Response: Thank you so much! This is one of my favorite stories that I made. Thank you for reviewing. :)
this was beautiful. It made me feel sad but in a good kind of way. I also enjoyed all the little connections you made to the books, like the dragon toy. very nice.
Author's Response: Thank you! I'm happy to hear that you liked the connections! I was worried that people would hate the connection. Thanks. :)
You know i am totally not that big of a James/Lily (weirdly a Severus/lily shipper) but you are a great writer! I love how they have so much personality, especially Harry.
Author's Response: Thank you so much! At the time of writing this, I was a huge James/Lily shipper. I read them a lot, and I just pictured this happening. I'm glad their personalities came through! I tried giving them something special. Oh gosh, thank you so much for that compliment. It really means so much. :)
This was pretty well written! It took a very slightly different approach than I would have imagined for Lily's character, but I really liked it.
Author's Response: Thank you so much! I actually do not like the writing in this. It was my first time writing in first person, and I think I butchered it. How do you normally view Lily? I've seen so many different portrayals of her; some see m so far off, others I think hit the mark. I really am happy that you like it.
I love this! So sad though :( Beautiful portrayal of the Potter family. I love the characterization of Harry, so adorable!
Author's Response: Harry was my favorite character to write! I just see him being so adorable. I'm glad he was to someone else. Thank you!
Author's Response: Thanks :)
The way you twisted my heart into pieces by Lily's declaration at the end is something I can never forgive you for, but that's your job, and you did wonderfully!
Author's Response: I'm happy to hear that you're not too angry! I am actually really glad that I effected you that way. That is the best thing that I could ever hear. Thank you so very much. :)
awww... you deserved the QSQ!! **round of applause** It captures the essence of their relationship, Lily’s fears and jame’s coolness about everything… I loved it all the way through the end!!
Baby Harry: he is … wow … How he started to show his own likes and dislikes as such a small baby the cheeky adventures he had and mischief all the way!!... and he likes redheads!! This is a foreboding fact that he’s going to be part of a big redhead family!!
Author's Response: Thank you so much! When I found out I won I was just... I was in shock. I honestly did not think I would win. I think the most IC character I have is James. There are so many different ways Lily could act, so she is always up in the air. And with Harry, there is no telling how he'd be as a baby. But I would love to imagine that baby Harry is like teenage Harry. That would be just so adorable. Thank you for the review!
Wow...this is amazing. I...dont even have words to describe it. I've always loved Lily and James (why did they have to die, dammit?!) and this story captured the awesomeness of their relationship as well as the cuteness of baby Harry.
My favorite part of this was, hands down: "He’s chewing on the tail of his favourite toy, a Hungarian Horntail. Remus got it for him - he says that Harry needs to have at least one manly toy."
I started laughing when I read this, SO PERFECT!
All in all, I loved it, and you should feel extremely proud for creating such a masterpiece.
Author's Response: Oh gosh, thank you so, so much! I'm glad I portrayed their relationship well. I just love their dynamic so much, which I part of the reason why I shipped them so hard. I just think that they could love so much without being too sappy. They were such a badass couple. I'm really happy that I made you laugh. I would not call this a masterpiece, but thank you for the compliment. :)
Aww, that was great! I love James/Lily, and this was absolutely perfect. It makes me sad, knowing what will happen to them, but it's still a wonderful story.
I liked seeing what Harry was like when he was a baby; I haven't read much about that time in his life. I love your take on it. I especially love the mashed potatoes- they are delicious, and I don't blame baby Harry for liking them! Sirius has good taste in leftovers to feed babies.
I loved the balance of fluff and tension; I definitely understand why this won a QSQ! I think fluff is awesome, and you did a great job with it without making it overly fluffy, like I always seem to.
Congratulations on your QSQ! You deserved it. I look forward to reading more of your stuff; it's great! Keep writing; you're amazing at it!
Author's Response: Thank you so, so much! I have never read a baby Harry before. I honestly had no idea how he would act; I just went with what felt right. I am so happy that I got the balance of fluff and tension right. Some stories have too much, others not enough. Thank you so much. I haven't written anything in ages (almost two years), and I feel like I'm at the beginning stage again. I hope to start writing again, and soon. Thank you for the wonderful review. :)
Very well written. I think that James and Harry would have been very similar and it's nice to see a fic that explores that. Nice job!
Author's Response: Thank you! I would have loved to see Harry grow up with James. I ache for it. I want to see the way they'd interact, how they deal with problems... their similarities would certainly make it interesting. I am happy to hear that you share my liking for that dynamic. Thank you for reviewing. :)
wow that was amazing. i was tearing up at the end, it seems like it would happen exactly like that. good job!
Author's Response: I'm glad you though it'd be like that! Thank you so much for the compliments. :)
