How very upsetting. I love the jokey bit at the beginning, seems as though they were very happy. And the marauder clock is an excellent insert. I still don't understand why they didn't disapparate immediately when they knew Peter betrayed them, they could've kept moving like the trio did in DH until they could contact Dumbledore and get a new, trustworthy secret keeper. Sorry, I'm a what if and why person. Great fic, and I love that song too.

This has such a sweet ending, I really like it. I found it interesting that you had James and Lily know he was coming - haven't seen that one before, good work. I also loved the maurader clock :P
