Awesome!!!!!!!!!! I just wish their was more.. =(
Author's Response: Thank you! Glad to hear you liked it. So far that's it. Maybe one day, though..?
I only recently got into reading fan fiction, your story was the first one I read and I really enjoyed it! I got to chapter 18 and when there wasn't any more I had to start reading others. I've come back and finished this one and I would like to say thanks! I loved it! Thanks for opening up my world to Fan fic, please keep writing!
Author's Response: I'm so pleased you've started reading fan fiction! There's a lot of great stories out there, so I'm glad you liked mine :) I'll keep writing, and I hope you find plenty of stories to love. I know I'm always finding new ones.
is there a sequel cause i love this story. which is really weird cause i only like harry and ginny.
Author's Response: No sequel - though there is a sort of loose 'ending.' Maybe in time? Who knows ... I sure loved writing this story, so I'm glad you could see Ginny with Draco for this one.
I LOVE IT
Author's Response: Thank you!
Draco has always been a deep and fascinating character, and it's nice to see a bit of soul spelunking done on his behalf. And Ginny has almost been left a blank slate by JKR, even by her own admission, so evolving her character would always bear interesting fruit.
All in all, after reading all 20 chapters in suit, I have to say I'm truly impressed with your story. I would have liked to see some of the 'Mom, Dad, meet Draco' moments, as I'm sure they would be nothing less than monumentally calamitous and, coincidentally, hilarious...but hey, that's what one-shots are for. :-)
Congrats on the fine work.
Author's Response: You read it all in one go? That's flattering :) I realise there's plenty of moments left - personally I like to imagine Ron's face if Draco just walked over and said something along the line of: 'Weasley. I do hope you'll not grunt like that at my wedding, or I'll see you're not invited.' - Of course, I hope he has his wand out, too... Thank you!
I really wanted to comment after chapter 19 when the broke up i was soooooo mad. But upon reading the Epilogue i became happier. Its so cute the way he proposes! I would love to see a fallow up story with the way both there family's reacted when they found out. Keep up the great work!
Author's Response: I'm glad you liked the epilogue. (And didn't hex me after chapter 19...heh.) And Draco can be quite determined, once he finds out what he truly wants... Thank you!
i loved the chapter it was ur best yet i cant wait to read the rest. Btw the Rita Skeeter novels are historical its so her lol.
Author's Response: Thank you! I had great fun inventing the most horrid titles for those Rita Skeeter books ... between those and Aunt Muriel's mean comments I was having too much fun. :)
Great story! I was still hoping for some Weasley reactions to Drinny. Anyway, thanks for filling in some of my time on a rainy day!
Author's Response: I'm glad you liked the story. Yes, there's a whole untold tale there ... just imagine Molly's reaction to a casual 'Oh, Mum? I'm engaged to Draco Malfoy.' It would be loud, no doubt... :)
haha that was the best ending of the chapter, she is falling in love ans she wont admit it, lol
Author's Response: Yes, poor Ginny is feeling more for Draco than she wants to admit ...
who thought Malfoy could be so "nice". i'm loving the development of his character.
Author's Response: Yes, Draco is showing his most - er - endearing side, isn't he...?
i liked it a lot. Aunt Muriel is historical, great job with her. Ginny is amazing i love the way she handled Malfoy.
Author's Response: Thank you! I'm glad you liked Muriel. I just couldn't help myself - she's so funny. And mean... :)
I go to one concert and this story gets updated. I have really bad timing. Anyway, I think that chapter is the best one. I like what Draco says and does in it. I like all of the jokes that he make too. And the he proposed! That was unexpected. I just thought he was going to snog her. I like your idea more. I think it was funny that he called Ron Ron. It was funny why he said it too.
When Ginny said, 'And they will not be named anything spooky' it made me laugh. Draco and Lucius are pretty spooky names. I would love to have the name Draco in my family. It would be fun saying to a cousin, 'Draco, get over here!' I think I just love the name Draco....
I'm very glad that you had this epilogue. I think it leaves off at a good place for a sequel.... I'm just joking about that. I really does leave off at a good spot, though. It makes think final without leaving it off at a dead end. It give the readers more room to think about what happens next.
This is the first chaptered story that I read each chapter when it came out so I'm sad to see that it ended. You did a great job on it as a whole. There wasn't any cliches that I found, not that I was looking for them. This was just a great story from the beginning. It kept me wanting to read more from the start.
Two good things happened while reading this story. 1) I now love Draco/ Ginny. 2) I now know how to spell epilogue. I think the first one is a greater accomplishment, but for me spelling doesn't come naturally.
Can I thank Apurva for beta'ing this? I will anyways. Great job, Apruva! You did really good.
And thank you for creating this story. It provided me some good laughs and some good Draco/Ginny when I need it. Again, I think you did a great job!
Author's Response: Yes, Draco proposed! Heís a Slytherin, you know. He is able to figure out that Ginny would be Ö livid, even though he hoped he could make her smile by being funny. So he went all the way. Note that he didnít actually give her the ring, though - itís more of a declaration that heís serious about her than anything else. As for names Ė poor Draco will have to call Ron Ron Ö or heíd get in trouble over what to call her other brothers. (Iím not too sure they wonít just hex him on sight, but that asideÖ) I, too, think that Draco is a rather lovely name, but ĎLuciusí sure isnít! Imagine a toddler called ĎLuciusí Also, as a peculiar fact Ė this story all came from a one-shot I wrote called ĎA Convenient Loveí. So thatís actually my take on how it ends. Youíre free to imagine anything else at all, of course! And of course you can thank Apurva! Sheís brilliant. Iím glad to hear you love Draco/Ginny, too. Now Iím attempting a Ginny/Sirius story, though Ö my muse decided that this was a good idea :) Last: thanks for reviewing! I think youíve been first on almost every chapter, and itís been great to read your response :)
I enjoyed your story very much -- it's gotten me completely hooked on the Ginny/Draco ship. Well done!
Author's Response: Thank you! I like Ginny with Draco, too, obviously, so I'm flattered to have convinced you to read more of those stories!
Hi there I apologize for not commenting sooner but I read on my iPod touch so it's not easy. Anyway I would just like to congratulate you on a fantastic job and thank you for sharing this story with all of us. I am generally not a fan of any ginny ship not with Harry, mostly because it's just too difficult to fathom so I was skeptical when I began this story but your portrayal of how there relationship came to be was exceedingly well done a d I found the entire course of their relationship believable. You did shy away from giving a real explanation of why harry and ginny did not work out, but I can't blame you and of wasn't necessary since the rest of it was so good and so believable. I also like your epilogue and would have been sorely disappointed with the ending had it not been included. My only critique is Harry and Cho! I can't imagine that ever happening in an instant but perhaps if you were to write it I would since you made this ship so believable. I look forward to more stories from you.
Author's Response: Thank you! Iím happy to hear you found the relationship believable, especially if you prefer Ginny to be with Harry. I didnít explain why Ginny and Harry didnít work out - somehow it just never made it into the story. As for Harry and Cho ... Ginny clearly wonders about that one, too! (At least I didn't have him date Lavender...hehe.) Thank you for reviewing :)
I loved it!!! It wouldn't have been the same without the epilogue. I hope you write more stories I love them!!!
Author's Response: Thank you! And I agree - I like the epilogue, too. It let me have my happy ending (love those.) I'm dabbling, so there will be a new story, but it might take some time :) Thank you for reading.
You should write a sequel I am absolutly in love with this story I haven't read one this good in forever and it was written in a short amount of time so i didn't have to wait for months on end for the next chapter. Awesomeness
Author's Response: Thank you, thank you! Yes, when summer is rainy (and it usually is...) there's plenty of time for writing.
you had better put that epilogue in NOW!!!!
Author's Response: If I didn't know better, I'd think my readers were getting a little impatient. ;) It's important to build exitement ...
aww poor Ginny. Draco abviously feels more I wish he would just commit to her
can't wait for the epilogue
Author's Response: For him to admit any more would have required more courage than he possesses Ė ever the Slytherin, that Draco.
that was so cute the way draco opened up : )
Author's Response: He comes around in his own time. :)
Aww I feel so bad that this is the last chapter.. =( Adding an epilogue is an awesome idea, my sincere thanks go to your beta reader. Lastly, thank you so much for letting Ginny be Ginny and keeping Draco as he is.. There are countless stories where Draco acts more like Harry, or he acts very different, and I think his overall superior snooty attitude and Ginny's temper and mischief make these stories seem so interesting. =D
Author's Response: Thank you! I'm glad you find Draco and Ginny are themselves - I did try my best. Draco's sneering arrogance is one of his more endearing traits, and Ginny's readiness to hex someone when provoked is no more than he surely deserves! :)
