Great story, I don't usually like the "Voldie's Harry's daddy" plots but this one is haping up to be interesting anyway. Death is BRILLIANT! Oh, I hope we'll here more of his opinion of the Peverells...

Author's Response: Thanks. The rest of the story so far is posted on FFN, though that version has not been beta'd. My previous beta got busy and couldn't continue, and I don't have the time nor inclination to edit and re-edit and edit again just to get the story on this site. Especially as I think my original version is good enough and more than readable, but I digress. Perhaps some day I'll have a beta go through the story and repost everything on here for anybody that has some irrational fear of FFN. Though, I admit, having seen some of the stuff posted there I can completely understand not wanting to touch that site with a ten foot pole. Frankly, some of the stuff there scares me, I fear for the human race.
