Chapter: The Prophecy Complete

The pace, rhythm and flow are all excellent here. The rhyming works very well and I love the rhyme scheme, which I don't think I've ever come across before--but maybe I'm just ignorant! Anyway, I thought this poem described what happened to Harry on the day of the Battle very well. Nice one!

Author's Response: Thank you so much for the review, Soraya! I'm glad you liked this poem. I wish I could remember how I came up with the rhyme scheme. I'm sure I read other poems like this - I've written another with the same, but haven't posted it. This poem was inspired by some music, but the original text is completely different. Anyway, it was challenging trying to stick with this layout, so I'm glad it worked! Thanks again for reading, I really appreciate the lovely review!! ~Gina :)

Chapter: The Prophecy Complete

The feelings that you portray of Harry walking to face his fate is perfect! I really enjoyed reading this poem, and I'm really glad that you decided to share it with us. But fate was not yet fully cast,
For he had not yet breathed his last.
He still had left one final task:
His enemy to meet.
This was my favorite Stanza. :) It just really takes that moment and really recreates it. The imagery of the new day at the end really made me smile. It shows a lot of hope for the future and that is what I saw at the end of the books too. Cyns

Author's Response: Oh, this is lovely - thank you so much for the review! I was so proud of this poem and then no one read it, lol. Thank you so much for finding it, I'm thrilled you liked it. It was challenging to work with the rhyme scheme but the line was so inspiring I had to go for it. Hope you are well - thanks again! ~Gina :)
