Actually,BB, that was a pretty good beginning chapter. The animal horror was well portrayed. Hey *slaps forehead* you could always change him into an.... an.... ANIMAGUS!

Hmm. An interesting response to the prompt, though I'm also seeing elements of a short story called "Chaotic" and a book titled "Nop's Trials." Coincidence? Will you be taking something of a Hansel approach to getting your protagonist out of his cage?
