Chapter: Not as Evil as He Seems

Wow, this was really great. I love how well written the whole piece was and the plot behind it. Neville's thought about his parents never crossed my mind, but it does make sense that he would wonder when insanity would hit him. I loved how Luna was the one to see him in the hospital wing (because I still would have loved to have seen them together). With the Hufflepuffs joining in the story, it really gave the sense of unity amongst Dumbledore's Army, even through this troubled time. I also liked the mention how not everyone was on their side. It was interesting how the group waited for their fate (I also liked the subtleness of Hannah laying her head on Neville's shoulder) and you really captured Neville's character with his fear of Snape. I liked how Snape did, in his own way, give back the papers and nothing happened to the group. Overall, extremely well executed, with both the writing and the very well thought-out story.

Author's Response: I glad you like it. I hope you read and review more stories!

I second Natida. I loved your take on Neville, and it was great to get inside his head for a chance. He's a leader, but he still admits that long-held and very real fear of Snape (and for good reason). In addition to the characters, I think you captured the dreary mood of Hogwarts very well.

Author's Response: Well, I'm glad you like this story. I have to admit, Neville is a fun character to write. I may have to do more stories about him.

I really enjoyed reading this. It's an excellent portrayal of Neville, and a different view on Severus's time at Hogwarts as a Headmaster. Thanks for sharing this :)

Author's Response: I'm glad you liked it. As the winning story for this contest, it has also been nominated to be made into an AudioFic. I hope you will be on the lookout for that as well.

Wow!!! I love reading fics about what was happening at Hogwarts when the trio was on the run and this didn't disappoint!

Author's Response: Well, I'm glad you like it. The judging for the contest will take place tonight. Wish me luck!
