Great. This works perfectly as a one-shot: it leaves the reader thinking about it a bit, but feeling perfectly satisfied.

I enjoyed the story but I do have some concrit to offer.

My knock was answered by man should be My knock was answered by a man.

“Mr. Lupin, I have an enquiry about your neighbour’s cat.” I would leave Mr. Lupin out of this sentence.

I think that all most should be almost.

I’m also not sure if Remus asking Tonks to breakfast the next day is IC for him.

Once again I did enjoy the story especially

if you call me Nymphadora again, you may find yourself bearing a strong resemblance to Smoky Puff

and

I vaguely wondered if Dark wizards celebrated Valentine’s Day.
