* giggles profoundly * This is great !

The imagery and flow is great :)

I can see that you must truly want a certain Mr.Black lol.

My mum loves this song, it's by Eartha Kitt isn't it? Well that's the version my mum loves, I'll have to show her this.

Great Job :)

Author's Response: Eartha Kitt's is def the best version, although Kylie and Madonna did versions too. Ha ha - Sirius Black - YUM!

Oh ha, sorry, I knew you'd recorded it but I couldn't find it and I wasn't sure if you'd read it or sung it. Just kidding. I would like to hear it though, I just can't seem to find it!

Author's Response: It was the first episode I think

Haha! I just performed the original version of this song, but I'm kinda wishin' I could have performed this one (although the audience wouldn't have thought it was as funny as I do)! It's hilarious, and very clever. ;)

(Just wondering, if it doesn't infringe on copyrights I could sing it as an opening or something for audiofictions...i even have the karaoke. haha)

Author's Response: Ah, it was on our first ever episode - and I sang it *eeep!*

Carole, oh, this one really made me laugh and want to hug you at the same time! It was very well written, flowing well with the rhythm, and I've now heard you sing it too!

Aww... it was very, very nice, honey, I must applaud tis one. You are good with the rhymes!

And you want Sirius badly, don't you? :) Good job!

Author's Response: *grins* Thank you for the review.

Yes, I want Sirius Black quite badly and now I've declared it in audiofic form as well. I'm just shameless.

I'm glad you enjoyed it. Carole xxx

*is laughing too hard*

Lol. Oh, Carole. That is so … you. Very good.

‘Cause I’ve put Amortentia on my Christmas list - Has to be my favourite line.

That’s not too much, for a Veela like me - You’re a Veela? Wow…

No, aside from the silliness, I think you did a good job with this. I know the song, the lyrics slot nicely, and it can be sung in tune and everything. Though I haven’t actually sung it, admittedly :]

The lyrics are great, actually. I have to say, they do very much fit Sirius. It’s the sort of stuff he would do.

Sirius, baby, and then we’ll be bonded for life. - great endnote. You can tell it’s the end too, even without the tune.

Good job. xx

Author's Response: OOOH, I never responded to you. Hmmm, I do seem to be 'selling tickets on myself' don't I? Calling myself a Veela as well as a witch. I'm glad you enjoyed the song. Carole xxx

Carole this was amazing! Hahahhaa. Everything works so well, which is hard to do in a parody! My favorite line: "'Cause I've put Amortentia on my Christmas List..." Great job!

Author's Response: YAY! Evester, you're back. Thank you for the review. So far I think this song is proving the most popular thing I've written - lol. I'm glad you enjoyed it.

Author's Response: Ha ha! Glad you enjoyed it and glad you recognised the song. i had a lot of fun writing it. *wink*.

*rolls around laughing*

That was original. Now, I have an urge to write one for Sevy. This was super cute. I hope Sirius was sitting under your Christmas tree this morning.

Author's Response: Don't worry, Sirius is with me constantly. *winks"

Thank you for reviewing but Sevy... sigh each to their own.

*blinks* *bursts out laughing* *dies laughing*

*sigh* Aw, you poor Carole. You really do want him a whole lot. Has Terri seen this? I just feel bad for your kids having to listen to you singing that at the top of your lungs throughout the house. *sniggers* Don't let the hubby hear you!

Okay, now on to the real review. I don't really know the song that is being parodied here, but it seems you did a good job. It was really funny and I loved the "I don't mean on the fellytone" bit. That was hilarious and a nice touch. >.<

*huggles* Merry Christmas!

~ Samarie

Author's Response: Samarie - Yes, Terri has seen it. She was the first to review - tee hee.

You really must get hold of the song. Kylie's done a version,as has Madonna but the best version is Eartha Kitt's from the 60s, I think. Alternatively, you could come over hear and listen to me *grins*.

*huggles* and Merry Christmas back Carole xxx

*giggle* Heehee, Carole. That was a good song. The imagery is great ;)

Next year I’ll be hard to resist,
‘Cause I’ve put Amortentia on my Christmas list

This line is great, I don't think I need to say anything more :]
Well done!

Author's Response: So glad you enjoyed it, Ayra. I enjoyed writing it and above all singing it to my beloved. ;-)

*snortygiggleheapoverkeyboard* LOL Carole. That's a good poem. I admit, I've never before heard the song, but some strange melody weaved its way into my sleepy brain while reading your parody. lol

Some grammatical nitpicks: You'll need to be careful with commas; you're putting them on inconsistently:

You see, in the first line, you start with Sirius, baby, but already in the first line of the second stanza, you miss the comma after “Sirius”. That weaves through the entire poem. Also, not all periods are set.

Next year I’ll be hard to resist,
‘Cause I’ve put Amortentia on my Christmas list

*snorts* That’s so… typically you. Hahahaha. I love how you’ve brought yourself into a song about Sirius. Nice, and I loved it.

Immensely enjoyed reading it. :)

Author's Response: I shall look into the commas, thank you, Bine. As for listening to the tune. Hmmmm, maybe I'll send you a version of me singing it. For the tune, Kylie and Madonna have recorded versions but Eartha Kitt's is the best and much smuttier than mine ;-). Glad I made you laugh. Carole xxx

I'm not quite sure what to say about this. I think if I were the one who was singing it....

Great work, honey, truly enjoyable. And the images it invokes... LOL

Author's Response: But it's me singing it, Terri...frequently!
