you are such a fantatistic writer!! you portrayed everyone perfectly!! i wish it was waaaayyy longer! have you ever thought about writing a long marauder era fic?

Author's Response: Kind of, but it's taken me two years to write half of my one long fic, "Of Christmas Past," so I'm kind of afraid to start another one. I'm at least going to try and finish this other one first. I tend to have short stories yell at me, and then once they're out, they're cool.

thats such a sweet story and one that shows how severus is towards his friends and how james and severus are just two boys who grew up around totally different friends and grew into totally different teenagers. in actuality, in their youth, severus was a much more decent person than james. he was a devoted friend, loved one woman his whole life, and is very loyal. hes quiet and studious. but then he fell in with the wrong crowd. james has always been obnoxious and a skirt chaser and although very loyal, also egotistical with a mean streak. james was very proactive, doing things to taunt others while severus very reactive, he usually kept his bitter thoughts to himself and rarely ever truly confronted james but mainly reacted bitterly to james and sirius' taunts.

Nice job keeping them all realistic instead of caricatures, and I like the bit at the end about how he couldn't get the words out, but in a way so different from what happened to James.
