I really liked this chapter. You start out great with something exciting without making it seem unrealistic that the train is attacked by Death Eaters. Can't wait for the next chapter! :)

I really loved the way you began and ended this chapter. Good start to the story, I like your writing style it is very poetic. You might want to try and give more detail on how Lily is feeling, don't feel pressured to make the chapter too long, because I would love to read more! Really, great start.

Very... dramatic. A bit of shock, but it seems to be an interesting story.

Nice beginning! Lily/James is a great ship, and this is a really promising story. You have a nice, fluid writing style. I just have a few questions: why is Lily alone at the train station (wouldn't her parents want to see her off)? And also, I have to wonder if Dumbledore would really let Death Eaters come so close to his students! Oh well.
