omgosh this is so sad in the cutest way! I love it! I do believe however that it would fit with both My Immortal and My Last Breath by Evanescence.
It's an interesting concept, and a very sad story. I like the way you incorporated the lyrics - they actually seemed to work.
I just have one suggestion:
“Is it wrong for me to still miss you? Even though this is an anniversary of- of the battle?” I said, unwilling to acknowledge ( at least not any more than necessary) this anniversary for the other thing it was the anniversary of- Remus’s death.
That just sounded rather awkward to me. I think if you got rid of one of the anniversarys, everything would be great.
Because your story was awesome. =] I enjoyed it very much.

Oh wow. That was a beautiful one-shot. I could really hear the song playing in my head and imagine a heartbroken Tonks. Argh, now I don't know if I would have preferred them both dead or Tonks alive. Still heartbreaking either way....

Really well done. I had tears in my eyes at one point. You really had me believing that Tonks had survived the battle, and I just couldn't stop thinking of how unfair it all was! I'm off to listen to the song now so I can see how it fits into the story! I also loved the touch of humour you added to it, with the memory of their wedding - it had me smiling through my tears :)

This was such a wonderful representation of one of my favorite songs. The lyrics fit so well with the situation, which doesn't happen much in songfics. A wonderful AU in general!
