I'm speechless. An alternate ending indeed! This story is haunting and chilling, and while I hate the thought of something like this being canon, I really enjoyed it. It would have been great to see some of it from Harry's POV, however.
What a chilling story! It was a clever twist, but would Ron and Hermione really kiss in the middle of the battle?

ok i know i'm being immature but seriously what the hell? who the hell would want so many bad things to happen or for harry to be like taken over for the rest of his life! i mean seriously the writing is awesome and all, but i hate your inspiration!
Author's Response: I completely agree with you. I would never want those things to happen, it would be absolutely horrible! This story was merely a 'what if', something that would never happen, but just grabbed hold of me until I wrote it. You may be happy to know, however, that there is a WIP chaptered sequel in the making, taking place years later and from the POV of an OC. I don't know how long it'll take to complete, or if it'll ever get posted, but it's my way of putting to rights what I destroyed in Alternate Ending. I'm not at all surprised or sorry about your response, and thank you for taking the time to leave a review.
I was looking for an angsty fanfic...and I got it. This was amazing...better even, than J.K. Rowlings'. At least yours didn't have an epilouge that sucked.:D This was great.:)
wow, this was strange - but good! i think it would have done better in the AU category with Dark/Angsty warnings, but i really liked it.
Interesting story. I don't know what made you think of such a story, but I enjoyed it.
I just want to say that I enjoyed your story very much, it was great.
You had a very interesting idea, it's a pity you only wrote a oneshot, it would have been perfect as a chaptered fic.
