oh, this was beautiful! especially the last line.
Suddenly, involuntarily, I can feel tears forming, and I wish the damn rain would hurry up and fall so I could pretend I’m not crying for him. Or maybe I’m not crying for him at all. Maybe I’m crying for myself, for what I’ve lost since I was that little girl.
What a perfect description! and it's so true, so real.

This was powerful and sad, and so well written. I like the way you connected the weather with the war, and placed Lily in a park to connect her to her past. I also like how at the end you let the reader know that Lily missed Sev, but didn't even mention his name. Really great fic!
