*applause* Well done! I really enjoyed reading this, your sentences flowed and I fell in love with Rose and Scorpius as I read it.

I thought this was a really great take on the Rose/Scorpius relationship. It was wonderfully written and full of emotion. I thought it was an interesting choice to have Lysander be in love with Rose, as I've read so many stories where Lysander loves/dates/marries Lily, but it made sense for the story (the Head Boy-Head Girl/exes tension was a nice touch).

I also liked that you addressed the issue of why portraits and statues don't alert teachers to wandering students during the wee hours of the night.

This story is perfect. I found your characterisation of Scorpius to be interesting - in a good way. It was truly beautiful :)

Very nice! Usually, I prefer stories from the Marauders' generation, but I really enjoyed this story. It seems so much more real than the other fanfics that I've read, probably because writing about this generation allows for more freedom, since so little is known about them.

It's a very interesting pairing, I'm really curious to see how his father and uncle Harry react! Oh, and Daddy Draco, as well. Lol.

Please continue! Something tells me this won't get too terribly Shakespeare on me. =)

I've never read a Rose/Scorpius fic before, but although it was kinda fluffy, I really liked it. I really liked the way you included the bit about Luna's family - I've never read a next generation fic with more than just Luna in it before.

This is so sweet, without being at all sickly. Nice job!

Author's Response: Thank you! :) -- I do almost disagree with the second bit, though ;)

This story was so sweet. Truly adorable. You should write a sequel.

Author's Response: Thank you, glad you enjoyed it :) I don't know about a sequel exactly, but I'm working on more.

Oh my sweet Salazar. Could you possibly be any more brilliant?

Seriously, I absolutely love this. It’s very sweet and defiant at the same time. I really enjoyed your characterization of both Rose and Scorpius. She was very much a mixture of her mother and father; she seemed to have his ability to be in the moment without having to analyze it. If that makes any sense at all, I’m probably looking to far into it.

I adore Scorpius, though. He has Lucius’ way with words; they flow so smoothly and they just seem to fit, and he is not as immature as his father (whom I love undeniably) was, which was very nice to see. His perceptiveness is also very Malfoy-like. Lucius is amazingly perceptive and though Draco doesn’t always seem it, he is as well. I absolutely loved the way that he preferred to keep his life to himself as well. That line was so beautiful for his characterization.

Ron’s characterization was spot on as well, which I find authors tend to get wrong or misguided with fanons, but your’s was flawless. I really liked that whole scene with her family. Albus’ remark to James about following the rules, very cute, and Ginny and Ron’s discussion of Charlie’s lack of marriage was a great touch as I am sure Mrs. Weasley does have a rather large problem with it.

Oh, I almost forgot. Lysander. Oh, wow. He was just great. I really loved the way that you characterized him and his falling for Rose, I don’t know how to explain, but it really set the reader up for Rose’s romance with Scorpius.

I also really liked the way that the story flowed through the different passages. I don’t think it would have the same impact without those differences in order. It’s a wonderful idea and it worked extremely well here.

Then cold, hard reality clunked into place: Scorpius was a Malfoy.

Ah, this was one of my favorite parts, because the reader is building up for this realization with Rose and when it finally comes, the reader is left just as crestfallen as she is.
I’ve missed you. See you among the flowers, beneath the stars?

I know this probably isn’t relevant to anything, but this reminded me so of Gossip Girl, they always use the first letter of each other’s names to call each other by for things. It really reminded me of that. It was a great touch, considering their need to be discrete. I also loved how poetic Scorpius was in it. And the journal – that was the sweetest thing ever. It was my favorite part in the story, besides the first kiss and the one from their reunion.

“Okay then, no more hiding,” she said, curling up close to him. “Tomorrow we face the disapproval of the world.”

“I don’t need the world’s approval,” Scorpius said quietly, “as long as I have you.”

This was so sweet. The world needs more guys like Scorpius; thank Salazar that there are at least fictional good guys left in the world. *sigh* I do hope that you write some companions to this, as your work with Rose and Scorpius is simply wonderful.

Author's Response: *squishes Haylee!* Thank you! And yes, I agree with that last bit; the world needs more guys like Scorpius. When I was writing it, my brain kept pointing out that boys and men like that just don't exist. Alas. Thank you, again, so much for this wonderful review :)

dude, i want a second chapter. this sooo good.

Author's Response: Thanks, glad you liked it. Sadly, that is the end of this story. I will write more R/S in the future, most likely companion shots to this fic, but no second chapter. Thank you for reviewing, though, glad you enjoyed it :)

That was adorable! I love the Rose/Scorpius pairing, and you did it justice. My favorite line was at the end- "I don't need the world's approval, as long as I have you." Wonderful job!

Author's Response: Thank you - and, hee, that line was, admittedly, one of the more fluffy ones, but I'm very glad that you liked it. Thanks, again, for reviewing :D

What a lovely story! Are you planning on carrying on with it? I would love to read the reactions to the news! Pretty please...

Author's Response: I'm not currenly planning on carrying on with something that occurs right afterwards; I do have other various R/S fics in progress though, and I wish to keep them all in the one storyline. So, perhaps not that specific situation, but other bits and pieces of their relationship, I do plan on writing, yes. Thank you very much for reviewing, I'm glad you enjoyed it :D

You are sort of a genius.

If we were doing points, I would give you very, very many for being well-researched. Other than a story written by a friend, yours is the only one I've ever read where Luna's sons were referenced. You've no idea how happy that makes me! And more points for referring to Charlie's bachelorhood.

It was a tad bit of the Romeo-and-Juliet stereotype, and Scorpius had a few corny lines, but the title line was utterly perfect and overall it was sweet. The numbers confused me slightly--at first I thought they were to provide some chronology for the story but then there wasn't a 2. Maybe the 5 should have been a 2 and the 6 should have been a 5?

Anyway, it was a lovely read and cheering and now I'm going to go watch the HBP trailer for the eighth time and drink coffee and be in a good mood. Cheers!

Author's Response: Thank you! :) I wanted to make the setting as well-rounded as possible, so I made sure to reference the next-generation facts (I almost missed that Lysander and Lorcan were twins though, oops!) And, yes, I know it was a bit fluffy in places, hehe, trust me, it's not my usual style, but I'm glad you liked it overall. (Ah! But trust me, no R&J intentions! I just found it difficult to ignore the fact that Weasleys and Malfoys don't mix well - plus the story request called for family conflict). Also, there is a 2 - I just ran back and double-checked. It's right after the 1. Enjoy the HBP trailer, I know I certainly did! And thank you very much for the review! :D

Ooooo so romantic. I love this pairing. You managed to make it fluffy without being stupid...oh I just really really liked this. Made me all happy inside! Can't wait to read your next fics!

Author's Response: Thank you very much :) I'm glad you enjoyed it, and very much appreciative of the review!

I just missed out on the HBP trailer to read the rest of this fiction, but man was it worth it! It is definatly the most well written Next generation story I've ever read and the characters are so real and gah. I'm at a loss really to praise this story with as much praise as it should get! Wow going in my favs!

Author's Response: Hee! Well, there are plenty of links to the HBP trailer online, so hopefully you'll catch it (I just saw it, it's amazing!) Thank you so much for your warm words, I'm glad that you enjoyed it :D

Even as a young man, I can appreciate a great romance story. I was really reminded of Romeo and Juliet. Please write more on R/S. Thank you for your story.

Author's Response: Thanks, glad you liked it. Admittedly, not a fan of the idea that R&J is a love story, so anything that reminded you of it was purely coincidental ;) But, thank you very much for reviewing, and as we speak I am working away on more Rose/Scorpius :D

That was simply heart-wrenchingly romantic. I adore Rose+Scorpius pairings, and this story is a ne plus ultra example of that! Hope you'll write more! ;)

Author's Response: Thank you! And, yes, I'm currently writing two more R/S fics :)
