I like this fic. Lily and James are in character. I think that Lily would think of Severus, and hope that he wouldn't join Voldemort (he had been her best friend for a long time). I also think that she would want time alone to think about things.

James is very romanitc, and I think that he would be, at least once he had Lily. To him he is facing an uncertain future. He knows that when they leave school they will be entering a war, and he doesn't know if he and his friends will survive. The one thing he is sure of is his love for Lily, and he wants to have something to look forward to (at least that is how I read it)

I''m not sure about Sirus, Peter and Remus following them. I think that they would give James some privacy, but I can see Sirus preparing the celebrations.

Author's Response: In my eyes the other Marauder's did give Lily and James a little space...but wanted to be the first to congratulate them...so were there. Thanks for the great review and I'll keep a few of your thoughts in mind if I write more to this story. :)
