Oh no! Poor Molly. I really like your story because although the characters do things that you may not think they would do, they are all still very in character. Great job!
Author's Response: Thank you! Thank you!rnrnI hope you still feel the same when you read the next chapter.
That's so cute. I like that it is set before the series starts, it explains why Mrs. Weasley is so infatuated with Gilderoy in the second book.
Author's Response: Yes. Like I said to my partner before, I know our pairing seems rather odd but it was do-able since she is a Lockhart fan. We just had to come up with the right set of circumstances to get through the prompts, but still kinda fit somewhat into what we know as cannon. That way neither of them look out of character. rn rnIt was a challenge! But I think Viv and I pulled it off nicely.rn rnKeep reading!!
Marsha, Viv, another excellent chapter!
I am very curious to see what happens now, as Arthur is really angry. I'm on his side though, Lockhart is scum. Hehe, anyway, lovely work. We've all sure got competition!
Author's Response: Thanks for reading it.rn rnAnd I think you'll find the next few chapters interesting after this. Particularly the next one. rn rnStay tuned everyone.
Wow! You two have really brought to light three characters that, before, I had taken for granted and overlooked. Throughout the series JKR let us see a more empassioned side to Mrs. Weasley, but you two have breathed life and added dimension to Lockhart and, even, Mr. Weasley.
At first, I was taken aback by Arthur's attitude towards Molly. I quickly reminded myself that this is earlier on in their marriage and you opened my eyes to whole new facet of their relationship. We only get to know the Weasleys after years of being togther and cultivating their partnership. I think you've successfully shown their journey there, filled with doubt and insecurities.
“I don’t care what he promised you or what he wrote you in that letter!” he burst out. “I can take care of my family just fine. I don’t need his charity. I don’t want you to have anything to do with that man ever again...or any other man, for that matter. Is it clear?”
I hadn't thought I'd ever hear Arthur speak to Molly like this, but I find it fitting here. You've set us up for a dynamic triangle and I can't wait to see where it goes! What I find even more interesting, is that we seem to have got the same prompts, so I am eager to see where yours led you and how it all turns out! ;) Another great chapter!
Author's Response: Thank you for seeing it that way.rn rnI think alot of us readers, tend to view Aurthur and Molly'smarriage as being always happy and full of love. But practially, even the bests of marriages have had their downsides. And that's what me and Viv were going for with our story. rnrnThis was our way of showing Molly and Aurthur going through the worst of it, but still managing to be together through thick and thin.rnrnKeep reading.. I think you'll find the ending interesting.
You were right! Great story! The character's are spot on and it is fun to read! But the warning has me a bit worried ( these two getting . . . friendly A little yucky!)
Author's Response: Thanks!rn rnI hate to say it, but I told you so! And ya the warning is a bit...um...well you know but it was necessary because of Lockart and Molly's friendship. It's not too yucky. You'll be able to digest it in hte end.
Oh girls! This is so . . . delicious!
When you said that it would be different, you were not kidding. This is so very interesting and addictive. Amazing job so far.
Author's Response: Thanks.rnrnThis is a paring to be remembered!! rnrnI hope you'll keep reading to see how it all ends.rn
Oh my! I had no idea what to expect of this pairing, but it turned out to be such a sweet read. I've always found Lockhart as a comical character, but I like the tenderness behind him here (even if he is still baffoonish). I can't wait to see how the rest of this pans out - your summary has left me very intrigued!
Well done, you guys and congrats on your gauntlet!
~Michelle (The One Who Marauds... with heart-shaped cookies)
Author's Response: Yeah. It all worked out in the end. I was a little worried with how our pair would match up. But through some brainstorming, Viv and I came up with a wonderful plot that luckily fit with the prompts that were thrown at us.rn rnI hope you enjoy the ending!rn rnAnd good luck to you too, Michelle!
