what i really like about this story is the way you described everything. it almost felt like i was there and i could actually see teddy's sad expretion.
i loved the way everyone came to teddy in the end and crowded and worried about him.
i think that the ending was really great. maybe there will be a sort of friendship between teddy, narcissa and astoria.
and maybe now astoria gets along with narcissa a bit better. it would be great to hear more about this story, for example when narcissa and astoria go shopping for teddy or teddy's birthday party.
my favorite part of this story is the monolouge that teddy has near to the begining of the story. he really spills out his thoughts.
Author's Response: Yeah, poor Teddy, I felt bad for him too.
oh i loved that story
Author's Response: I am glad to hear - well, read - that.Thanks!
What a lovely story! It's great to see that the adults were able to overcome their prejudices and be gracious. I believe the magic of literature, which you've caught here, is showing us how we can grow and learn new things.
Author's Response: Thanks for your lovely review. I'll admit that I feel very flattered that you think so highly of my work. And yeah, it feels good to write about adults who can overcome their prejudices.
I completely and totally loved it! The end made it even better. Great going :)
Author's Response: Thanks! I loved the ending, too. I totally hate Lucius and I take every chance I get to paint him bad.
I think that I would like to see the conversation that they have with Teddy. However I think that you have his reaction well. It is hard enough for some children to deal with having siblings. This would be even harder when your parents are dead and the people who have a large part in your life are expecting.
I would also like to see Astoria and Narcissa at the party and more information on why Astoria doesn't get on with her parents in law. I had always imagined her as being the type of person Lucius and Narcissa would approve of and I would like to see your take on it.
Hey, thanks for the nice long review. I've always been interested in children's jealousy, althought I've never felt it. I was five, when my brother was borm, and I didn't mind him at all. I did, however, mind him, when he became two and started following me all around. But yes, it must be very hard, when there is a baby on the way and it isn't even your sibling, but the baby of the people who have replaced your parents.
Maybe I will write the party, but I am not sure. About Astoria - Narcissa and especially Lucius don't mind Astoria, but they mind the fact that she is younger than her sister and has less formidable dowry. Well, at least I want it to be so, because I hate Lucius and I love painting him as black as possible!
IT was a nice story
Author's Response: Do you think so?*grin*
aww this was really cute.. but i think that you should turn it into a chaptered story. kind of like teddy dealing with the arrival of the new babies and all. i loved this chapter, but it seemed like it ended too soon. it feels kind of unfinished. hope you think its a good idea, MaraudersLover
Author's Response: Thanks for reviewing. Maybe I will write a sequel, who knows? Thanks for the idea.
good story! poor teddy! lol i love how they all are so overprotective of him lol
Author's Response: Yeah, they are all quite protective, aren't they?
Loved it. :) Very sweet. Good job.
