This. Was. Brilliant. Brilliant!! I especially loved the line about butterbeer being sweeter at the bottom of the bottle. All the characterizations, emotions, and dialogue were perfect, and the flashbacks were seamless. I also loved your focus on Sirius and Remus - they're my favorite Marauders. This was amazing!!!

Author's Response: Thank you! Remus has always been my favorite, and it's always been easy for me to 'write' Remus. I really had to 'get into' Sirius' head for this though, so I had to go back and analyze him. Now, like you, I find they're my two favorites. Thanks again for the great review!

Very touching. Well written and thought out. I do like the way you detailed the change that Peter went thru. He did die, unfortunately for him his life continued after taking the dark mark.

Author's Response: Thank you for the kind words! Peter Pettigrew has to be one of the most complex and underestimated characters ever (weirdly enough). I've always found it astounding that NO ONE suspected him of anything terrible. But I have wondered if he didn't regret his actions--if only occasionally...rn
