Chapter: Consequences...

Well, I have to say that Lucius Malfoy is nothing but a smarmy little conceited jerk!
Poor Melantha! The idea of her having to marry that idiot is repulsive...Although, I could just hear him speak, thinking of Jason Isaacs, obviously. But he's still a smarmy little git.
And her parents don't give a fig about her feelings and they're idiots too!
Great story, though.

wow i wish that i had of waited until more chapters were posted to review. now i'm not gonna be able to wait for more!! i loved how u showed that the apple doesn't fall far from the tree at all when it comes to the malfoy's, or rather all of the "purebloods are the best" type families. i also loved the fact that u showed that even other seer's thought that sybill is crazy lol!! when do u think the next chapter will be up because i can't wait to see some of melantha's powers and actually see her in action!! exellent job so far, so keep them chapters coming!!!

Author's Response: Hey! Firstly thnx for the awesome review. I know what you mean waiting for the next chapters, if it helps, the next chapter is in the process of being validated so hopefully it should be up soon.rnShe's no Mary-Sue so dnt be disappointed if she doesn't start 'saving the world' right away, but I do plan on enough happening to keep you interested so pls keep reading and I hope you enjoy the story where ever it leads.

Chapter: Happy Families

Excellent writing - intriguing story and now I'm just dying to know where it's all leading. Just what is she supposed to 'do'?
Desperately awaiting your next update...

Chapter: Happy Families

Well, it looks like Melantha hates her parehts, or at the least, resents them, for the way they treat her. Her father, instaed of being proud of his daughter, and her accomplishments, he snarls at her like she's a piece of trash. Her mother is no better, IMHO.
It looks like they're trying to keep Melanthat away from hearing what the adults are talking about. And she loathes Malfoy to no end. And it looks like he's goning for a little hanky-panky.
Great story! Best of luck with the next chapter!

Author's Response: Wow, what a review! Well, there's a verrry good reason for all the hostility between our 'happy family'; you may find out in the next chapter, or you may just have to wait..

Chapter: Prologue

OKay, that was a fun chapter! And weird for little Melantha to meet Cassandra and Sybil, who I imagine is the future Divinations teacher at Hogwarts.
The prophecy sounds eerily familiar...
It's a great story, and I'll check out the next chapter!

Author's Response: Glad you enjoyed it. The play on words with the prophecy was meant to sound familiar, but if you read it closely, it implies something else; keep reading and you'll find out how;)

I'm very interested to see where this is going...but I loved how you described the Malfoys! I can't wait for the next chapter!

Author's Response: Once again, thnx for the review. I wanted to show that the Malfoys have a history of being arrogant snobs with Lucius having a suave, charming facade, I'm glad you liked the description. rnPls do keep reviewing, it really is motivation to keep writing.

I'm captivated. I love the parcial use of the 'Neither can live...' line, I will definately keep a look out for the next chapter!
Keep moving forward in the art of writing and expressing oneself.
