Draco as a Squib. This could be a fun story.

Author's Response: Yes, it was actually a story I adopted from someone on the beta boards. I just hope I can do it justice and live up to their expectations for it.

ooo... I like. I can't wait to see the next chapter!

Author's Response: Oh, yes. I am so happy I got the oppurtunity to adopt this fic. And I'm very excited to see how it develops.

Oooohhh!!! Please write more soon!! :)

Author's Response: Don't you worry! I don't think this plot bunny's original mommy would allow me to leave her baby out in the cold.

This was a really great chapter. I love your characterization of Draco, which I can be very harsh on, so good job on that one. I also really liked the way that you had Draco be the bystander in the argument/yelling conversation. It seemed very like him to me, and at that point, the reader can start to suspect his decision to take the potion (even though we know this from the summary, but this is a good aspect to have in the fic). Very good foreshadowing.

I also really liked the description that you used, not too much, just the right amount. The only real nitpick I can find is that there were a couple of paragraphs that kind of threw me off because they changed topics quickly. Other than that, it was very good. Oh yeah, I also liked how you stated that Lucius was acting most un-Lucius-like, because he clearly is and that provided all the justification this really needed. He is a man of many troubles at the moment; it’s understandable.

Good work, again.

Author's Response: Yes, it was fun to write Lucius destessed. I do it in several stories. You should give it a try; it's fun!

Wow, what a great prologue. It really sets the reader up for the story, and creates a very great sense of excitement and eagerness for the reader to continue.

I really like the characters you have created. Dejan is so eccentric and wild, but this makes for a great scene because without his madness while creating, the story would be a little flat here, but it’s not, so all is well!

Whereas Althea is rather calm compared to her Potion’s Master. She seems like she would be the perfect apprentice for him.

Great start and I can’t wait to read the rest and see how all this ties together with Draco.

Author's Response: I'm glad you like them. You never know, they may make a reappearence!

This is SUCH a cool idea! I can't wait for it to develop. :)

Author's Response: Well, don't you worry! There will be plenty more.

It looks like it will be really good!! Keep writing please!

Author's Response: Don't worry. Draco's being a little stubborn with this topic (as you can imagine), but I'm still writing it whether he likes it or not!

No! Where's the rest of it???? Crap this is why i hate reading not-finished stories. It was really good so far though,

Author's Response: *groans little kid groan before apology* I'm sorry for not finishing the entire story within a month of posting it. Don't worry, though. This fic is far from abandoned, and I have no intention of letting such a wonderful idea go to waste.

I like your writing style. :D

However, Draco DID use the Unforgivable Curses; on Ollivander, I believe, witnessed by Harry. I'd think Harry would mention this at the trial. ^^

Author's Response: Yes, but remember, there hasn't been a trial yet. The Ministry might not know this, so Draco has a great oppurtunity to get away with all of it. Well...maybe not great.

This is getting to be good, I can't wait to see if/how Draco defies his parents. Also, the thing about Lucius and the after-effects of his imprisonment really got me thinking. I've never really thought about how badly he must have been affected by Azkaban. Great job!

Author's Response: You know, everybody seems to like Lucius' reaction. It's almost inspiring me to write a D/A about his release from Azkaban.

I know this is supposed to be a funny story, but those last few paragraphs make me want to cry.

Author's Response: Yeah, but I got this story as a plot bunny, and the creator wanted a sulky humor. And given the plot, this wasn't going to be a Dane Cook piece abyway. Don'y worry, though; it will get a lot funny in the next few chapters.

Wow. That was good--and serious. I've never really thought about how Lucius was affected by Azkaban, and how that in turn would affect Draco and Narcissa. The little shouting fete was fantastic too. Makes me feel sorry for Draco. Bravo, OliveOil_Med!

Author's Response: Thanks, I'm glad you like it so much. I once had a professor who was once a hardcore Vietnam protester, and he told us all about returning soldiers and PTSD, and that's sort of what inspired Lucius. Anyway, I'm happy you think I'm taking good care of your baby.

i like this story, i like the fact that Draco is going against his parents.

Author's Response: Yes, Draco will be doing all kinds of things his pureblood parents wouldn't approve of.

This is getting good. Now if we could see Lucius and Narcissa explode? Of course Lucius will probably go back to Azkaban .

Author's Response: Well, as I say with all my stories, you will have to wait.

I like the beginning, and the summary sounds good, too... Wait, where's the rest of it? UPDATE SOON!!!! Can't wait!

Author's Response: Don't worry, the rest will be coming. This is a story that needs to be told!
