There are so many James & Lily stories out there, but I don't think I've seen one yet from one of Lily's friends as a middle-aged mom-- it's always either from Lily or from the boys from that year (Remus, Sirius, Severus), at least two of whom could really be argued to have never moved on much past the era of the First War because, perhaps, they lost so much. Someone who lived a regular life (not in Azkaban or waiting at Hogwarts for revenge and atonement) and who has raised at least one child of her own for nearly two decades should have a different perspective. This should be very interesting! :)

Author's Response: Thanks for the lovely review! I agree- characters like Sirius and Severus have not moved past old rivalries and conflicts, and they're likely to have a biased, somewhat one-sided view on the matters. Though, the story itself aren't going to be only what Stella's telling him in her words as an adult, but all of her experiences from that time period, though she'll probably only directly tell Harry the things that pertain to his parents. Wow, that was a terrible sentence >.>Hopefully, the story will live up to your expectations!
