*smiles* Hanni, this is a sweet, heart warming poem. I adore it. Heh.

The ending painted a smile on my face. It was just...at last, I thought, he can be with them again. And that's what he thought, too. Obviously. It was a relief, sort of. In a good way – I felt at peace, like he did.

Anyway - I love the writing. I truly have no critiques. The writing flows well, and it sounds nice to my ears (hypothetically, as I haven't read it aloud, but I know it would). It's simple but powerful, like nearly all great poems are. It wasn't disjointed, it didn't confuse, and it didn't sound choppy. Really, I can't critique it. *loves*

My favorite part would have to be this:

I watched as they all left,
By their sides as they passed,
Holding their hands.

It's a simple stanza, but it's sweet and powerful, and I love the stanza after it, as well. They go perfectly together. =) Amazing job. My love of your poetry has been rekindled.
