Chapter: A Disenchanted Lullaby

Well done, this was a great story. I really felt for Narcissa, especially her despair at Voldemort's hands. You did a really good job of bringing a new perspective to the final battle, so well done! I also thought that you portrayed Lucius very well too; I could imagine him "stiffen beside her," as you described.
T
here were two things I noticed that could be fixed...

"He would definitely hurt Draco and Lucius…what did it matter though, they would all likely be killed anyways."

I don't know if this was a typo or not, but I think "anyway" would be better

"If the Dark Lord were ever had any sort of soft spot for anyone besides himself, it would’ve been for Bella."

And I think this is just a typo too!

I also loved the lullaby; did you write this yourself? Because it's really good! Chilling, but beautiful!

Hi Kasey!
I really liked your portrayal of Narcissa, very well-rounded. I loved how you connected her with Lily and Harry. Also, giving her the credit she deserves...after all she did help in the defeat of Voldemort, and I liked how you showed that. Your style is good too ;), well written, well-rounded interesting story. Congrats, very good job!

You did a good job on this one-shot, it's one of the best I've read. I like how you portray Narcissa and how you came up with full-story on how and why Narcissa knowingly brought the Dark Lord's downfall.

I really enjoyed this, it was a really good and emotional portrayal of a mother's love and explained Narcissa's reasons for saving Harry well. I also liked the way that Narcissa was never truly on the side of Voldemort after his treatment of Draco. It was a great back story to a significant episode in DH!

Chapter: A Disenchanted Lullaby

Hi. I enjoyed the story. It gives a different perspective on why Narcissa made the choice she did. However if Narcissa recognised Wormtail Snape would have known who the tratior was and he would have told Dumbledore when he switched sides (if for no other reason than that Wormtail was betraying Lily). He may still have wanted Sirus in Azakaban, but Dumbledore would have cleared Sirus.

Once again nice story

Author's Response:

Woah, I totally missed that! I'll fix that little loop hole :) Thanks a bunch!

Brilliant! I specialize in fics that directly reflect JK's work from a different perspective and you have done a BANG up job imagining the interior Malfoy family infrastructure!

Keep going!

Great fic! I never saw Narcissa before as a caring mother, but your writing helped me to notice her tender side. I also thought that the way you described how Narcissa put all of her hope for a better world in Harry was beautiful. Nice work! : )

Author's Response: Thank you!! While Narcissa isn't one of my top favortie characters, I've always thought she has never gotten all the credit she deserves
