WOW. This is really great! Tom doesn't seem too nice or soft, either. Great job showing that, originally, Voldemort was human! :)
Umm.
WHAT?
Are people even ALLOWED to write so wonderfully?
I'm speechless. When the story was over, I had this stupid grin on my face, and I was thinking, "Oh my GODRIC, VOLDERS could have actually loved somebody ZOMG". This story is the best I've read in fan fiction. Even in normal fiction, it would come second tot he real HP Series. I never thought Voly could actually have emotions! Your fic has inspired moi, and I am going to write a Voldy/Someone or the other fic!
WONDERFUL, WONDERFUL, WONDERFUL!!!
That was great! You're writing style is very interesting, and I love how Canon it was. The ending was very typical, but it wasn't predictable...If that made sense. Anyway, great story!
This story is absolutly amazing!
Oh, Voldy :(
This was great. An interesting take on Voldemort's unspoken teenage years.
Oh my Godric, this was amazing! I'm speechless. It's such a sad, sad story. I felt drawn into it from the very beginning. Your style is great and your characterisation is even better. I'm in awe. The ending was perfect and it really sums up Voldemort's view on love.
This was an amazing character study of Tom Riddle. From the very first sentence I found myself drawn into the story, and I couldn't un-glue my eyes from the monitor.
You managed to keep Tom in-character and evil while still having him love someone, which is a major accomplishment. I loved all of the details about lilacs and the colour of Lydia's eyes.
The ending was absolutely fantastic:
If this was love, then Dumbledore was a greater fool than he had believed. Love wasn’t a power; it was a weakness.
That really sums up a great deal about Voldemort's character and offers good insight as to why he was so against feeling love.
I absolutely adore this story, and it's going into my Favourites. Keep up the excellent work!

Excellant story, and very believable! As if it was written by Jo herself!
That was an extremely captivating and well-written story. Tom was in-character, and I actually felt bad when Lydia introduced him to her fiancee. Hadrian getting murdered was typical of Voldemort- it's amazing how you could keep Tom evil but love someone at the same time.
Wonderful job! You seem to be a great author.

This is a completely unique explanation to why Voldemort hates love so much. You're an awesome author!!!
Hey H-J!!!
Oh my Godric! I loved it. Your a fabulous writer! (Hehe and it says my name!)
Cheers,
