"...She would kiss my tears and my scars, hold my hand when I panicked. Lily would make me get out of the house and go to the grocery with her for spaghetti and milk. James would rag the hell out of me until I got ‘normal’, and whack the side of my bony, pale arm until it bruised- but in a satisfying, best-friend sort of way. " I liked this paragraph. I've actually journaled something similar to this about my firends when I was having a rough time. This is un poco (a little) depressing, but written well!
