I forgot to add this to my favorites!
So when you just replied to my review back at Pride and Pre-juiced plums, I realized that this was up.
Fantastic job! I loved No Good Deed and As Long as Your Mine! They were both so good.

I hope you update Love and Duck soon, since it was a really good story.

Wonderful job!

Author's Response: I hope to update Love a Duck soon, but I can't do it THAT Soon because there are so many things I need to submit.

Author's Response: Thank you so much! It's nice to get so many reviews in one day. I'm glad you liked the rather darker tone pervading the songs in Act Two; I wasn't sure how people would respond to that. I love "Love A Duck!" But it's not a very high priority at the moment. Right now, my list goes:
rn1. Finish posting "The Truth" (take a break of a few weeks before submitting third book)
rn2. Post my Sweeney Todd spoof
rn3. Add more to "Pride and Prejuiced Plums" (I'm taking a break from that after submitting Chapter Four because I only wrote the first four chapters... I wasn't expecting the queue to move so quickly!)
rn4. Love A Duck!

I shall leave a real revie later, I'm going to miss my bus, but it was awesome. Also not to be a stalker (it's on the forum) or anything, but happy bday.

Author's Response: Bahahaha, thanks very much for the birthday wish! And I'm glad you liked the spoof--- hope you caught your bus!

OK, that's it! I'm making my parents find a DVD of something of Wicked for the sole reason of this: I don't get this! I've never heard any of the songs! *sad-i've-never-seen-Wicked-so-now-I-don't-get-this-fic-bby-an-amazing-author-face* Now, I have to see a musical. This is gonna be a lot of work. (By the way, I hope it's worth it. Who am I kidding, of course it's worth it!){Becca}
P.S. You've got a lot of spoofs, so I'm going to be watching a looooooot of musicals. ;)

Author's Response: I don't think there is a DVD of Wicked, but you can just listen to the soundtrack! It's quite good... I've never seen the musical myself, only listened to the soundtrack. But I feel bad for making you spend money in order to understand this.

Schmergo i luv you. You make me laugh like a manic. one time at school and i was taking really important test and it was dead quiet and i randomly thought of the random wizard from "attacking the city" and burst out laughing. Everyone turned to stare at me and i had to clap my hands over my mouth; but i couldnt stop! "the wizard will kill you now!" and "voldemortitude!" awesomeness! i think you should do a hairspray spoof. Do it. But whatever you do(coughcoughairspraycoughcough)will be awesome.
million/ 10

Author's Response: Wow, thank you! I'm sorry for making you look like an idiot in the middle of your class... but to be honest, I'm kind of glad I did. I will totally do a Hairspray spoof... but I'm posting the Sweeney one first. Stay tuned until then, I guess!

Wo0ot! I like Part II better than the Part the First, probably because it was so much darker and malicious-er. And I must say ALAYM, No Good Deed and For Good were AWESOME! Teehee, I'll have them stuck in my head for a really long time...

(Harry lies on the ground sobbing.)

What is it?

It’s just… for the first time, I feel… wicked.

It's a wonderful feeling, isn't it? But then why is he crying?! WHAT KIND OF TEENAGE BOY IS THAT INNOCENT??????

Excellent job!~

Author's Response: OooOoOOOoooOOOooOoH! Thank you so much, you lovely Heiress of Insanity! As for the 'I feel wicked,' wouldn't you be sobbing if Voldemort had just possessed you? I'm pretty sure Harry is in the book... but I don't know... *Slinks away*

I love wicked, just as much as i love this hpspoof! I was sat here singing along to no good deed, made me chuckle. well done!

Author's Response: Wow, thanks! I'm so glad you liked it. And... nice username. That number of Horcruxes just keeps going up, doesn't it?

LOL!! the words to the songs are such clever parodies.. how do you do that???

Author's Response: Wow, thanks! I just think of a theme for the song, then I try to think up words that fit the theme that sound similar to the original.

I vote Sweeney Todd, but I think it's already won. Hope it's going well, and by the way: this is hilarious!

Author's Response: Thank yooooou! I always value your questions! ^_^

well, all right. that was fantastic. for some reason I had no trouble at all picturing Harry hitting all those miserably high Glinda notes. and Voldy going "Volde-E-mort" made me choke on my ginger ale. but it was bloody brilliant and I enjoyed it so much. I sang along for the entire thing! Buenisima, bella! (I think that's Italian...) And I can't wait to see the sweeney todd one. JOHAAAAAAAAAANNNAAA... lol amaxingness, schmergo. a gazillion/10 for you!

Author's Response: Oh, wow, thanks! I've never had a gazillion out of ten before!

rnI'll keeeeell you, Headmaster
rnI'll kill you
rnI was half convinced I'd fool you
rnI was half convinced you'd hire me
rnTurns out that I'll have to school you

A valiant crusader, or more like Darth Vader

Ha, Ha, Ha! What a funny second half. Too bad the second act is not as familar to me as the first, despite the fact I have the recording, which I have not listened to in a long time.

How's progress on Sweeney Todd?

Author's Response: Thank you so much! Sweeney Todd is almost done... just two more songs. But I won't submit it for awhile because I have a lot of stories... The second act is less familiar for me, too. I had to try really hard to write some of these.

Oh... My... Gosh. That was WOW! As much as I loved the Voldy-fied Les Mis, this was so... so... asqueeably awesomely COOL! (You have no idea, the temptation to say 'wicked', there...)

Thank you so much for using the 'more/mort' thing! I'm the only person I know who actually says VoldeMORE, instead of MORT, and that was totally vindicating. Speaking of Mort, did I spy a Discworld reference at the end of Attacking the City/One Short Day? I know that was Volde-mort, but I think you mentioned Discworld in your profile, so I was curious.

There were so many too-cool things, but if I try to go into them all right now, I'll write this to death, and you'll likely never actually get the review - bad habit of mine, as proven by the fact that I started writing this on Easter, and it's now like a week later.

I do want to try recording one of these. I've been meaning to do that for a while, actually, with Les Mis and Phantom. Hopefully I won't mangle anything.

Okey-dokey, then. Happy Easter (a week ago)!

Author's Response: Thank you sooo much! And thank you so much for reading the Les Mis one, because... almost no one did. I don't think I intentionally made a Discworld reference, but I'm a bit obsessed, so references tend to creep in without my even meaning it. For instance, there's one line in my story, "A Quest For Ice Cream," that's a direct quote from one of Terry Pratchett's books, and I thought I'd make it up myself until someone informed me otherwise.

rnHappy fourth of July in like four months!

Well, I tried singing "apply depravity" and "no one mourns the wicked". Apply Depravity was much more easy cause I knew it better. Um... I did it when no one was in the room, lol. It fit perfectly though except for like, two words. So, great job!

Author's Response: Thank you so much! I'm really glad that it seems to work! Yeah, my timing is not perfect, but I'm glad it's close.

This is pure genius, as usual.

great idea re: the endnotes. I will record myself singing 'Voldemort' and the version of 'Dancing Through Life' and 'Defying Gravity' promptly, as well as several of the Les Mis ones. They will be a youtube sensation! Those and the amazing 'One Day More' parody I told you about in the boards...at least I think I did, I'm tired this morning.

Hmmmm, I think you should do Hairspray and Sweeney Todd combined, since they're so similar in plot, genre and audience. Or just Hairspray with 'Not While I'm Around' added in.

haha, yay! You used my favorite word...asplodes! ironically is a pretty good word too. Can't wait for more literary genius.

Author's Response: Thank you so much, Ali! I would be absolutely delighted to hear you sing... and I do remember that "One Day More" thing. I tend to get vewwy excited when I meet fellow Miz heads.

rnWere you being sarcastic when you said Hairspray and Sweeney Todd are similar in plot, genre, and audience? I'm not very good at telling when something sarcastic so... I better not make any comments. I always look forward to getting your reviews!

Ugghagha!! On the review drop down thingy it says "Reviews for 2. Act 2" But Act 2 isnt there yet!! its killing me!!! Seriously!! I have been checking here every two hours, and its seriously cutting into my time, they need to validate it so I can get on with my life!!

last night, when my mom and brother were gone, I turned on my Wicked soundtrack full blast and sang to it using your words. I cant wait for the next part so I can sing it all the way through!! :D (must remember to bring water...)

Schmergo, you should totally direct(or write) the Harry Potter Musical. It would be sooo awesome. We should start a petition for Schmergo for Harry Potter Musical.

And sorry about you spilling chocolate Milkshake on your lap, I know how it feels. :P

Author's Response: Well, Act 2 was only submitted a few days ago, and there are 300 stories in queue, so I seriously doubt it'll happen within the next week. I'm so glad you liked this, though! Hmmm.. I'm not entirely sure how the public would feel about a fifteen-year-old girl writing the official musical for one of the most popular series-es of books in world history... But you made me smile! I wish that could happen!

rnSadly, it wasn't my lap on which I spilled the shake... it was the LAPTOP COMPUTER that I used to write the stories. 0_0

You brilliant, brilliant person. That's it, that's all there is to say, because you have taken the words from my mouth.... but I will need them back soon, because it might be hard to communicate without them.....

Your song titles made me crack up, especially the "A somewhat Mental Man". Also, when Tom said "Get. Away" and Merope said "No," I was on the floor laughing. Now, do not ask me why three words made me end up on the floor laughing hysterically, lets just pass over that and see that your brilliance has made ones day....

I can't even think about how long this must have taken you to write out, but I must say the end product seems very popular! *starts singing Popluar, I'm gonna be pop-u-lar!*

All in all, amazing, and your other stories and works are also amazing, by the way!

Author's Response: Oh my gosh... wow, thanks so much, this is a lovely review, and if these go on, I'm going to end up a psycho egomaniac like Voldemort himself! I'm rather proud of "A Somewhat Mental Man" myself-- I kind of went around singing that for a few days. Yeah, I don't really get what's funny about the "Get. Away" "NO!" except maybe it reminds you of PotterPuppetPals? Like, where they're hugging Snape and he goes "Get off me!" and they're like "NO!"

rnActually, this did not take long at all... I wrote it over the course of a two-day car trip, and while on this trip, I also wrote "Long Distance Extendable Ears" and the fifth chapter of "Love A Duck!" so I was suspiciously productive. Also, I spilled a chocolate milkshake on my laptop, but that's not important...

you have combined Wicked and Harry Potter, two of my favourite things

pure genius!

But I swear, someday there’ll be
A musical on MuggleNet that’s all to do with me!"

lmso! you rock!! can't wait for act two!

Author's Response: Oh my gosh, thank you so much! I have never been called a legend before... wow, I've just been called a legend and Smergy in one day. Can it get any better?

rnI can't wait 'till act two, either! Come on, mods!

Smergy my dear smergy!! Bravisimo! You should totally write the Harry Potter musical thinger that they want to have!! And when I have time from my hard knock life of practice i will record all of your songs (in my just oh so lovely singing voice ;) and put them on YouTube!! Ill give you the link when I eventually do put it up =]

Author's Response: I HAVE NEVER BEEN CALLED SMERGY BEFORE, AND I LOVE IT! Oh my gosh... if anyone hired me to write the Harry Potter musical, I would die of joy. One of my dreams in life would be to write a musical and have it performed on Broadway... I can write lyrics really easily if someone else has written a tune to go with it, but I can't do it the other way around.

rnI would love to year you sing! Did I detect an "Annie" reference in there?

Name: snapeadoodle (Signed) · Date: 03/25/08 17:18 · For: Act One
Bravi Bravi Bravissimi!!! (sorry couldn't help the Phantom reference) I have to say that's your best one yet!!! I swear I will never listen to Defying Gravity in the same way ever again! I haven't seen Wicked, but I really want to and now I'll probably end up singing along with the wrong lyrics! Oh well... I vote for Hairspray, but Sweeny Todd would be pretty cool too. One of my friends is obsessed with Alan Rickman the way you are obsessed with Neil Cicierga and I get the feeling she will be veeeery excited about that! Keep it coming Schmergo!!

Author's Response: YAY FOR PHANTOM REFERENCES! I haven't seen Wicked, either... well, I saw the entire thing filmed and posted illegally on YouTube about a year ago before they took it down (it was Shoshanna Bean's last show), but I never saw it live. However, I have seen Spamalot twice, Cats twice, Evita once, and I'm going to see Lion King and Les Miserables on tour this summer.

rnI am doing Sweeney next (actually, I'm almost done writing it...), but I promise Hairspray will be after that!

rnI think one reason why I love Neil Cicierega so much is that he really reminds me uncannily of Ted from my Potter's Pentagon trilogy in terms of appearance and mannerisms.

Fantastic! You've only a few minor spelling errors ("taught" where you meant "taut"), but you certainly made good use of the songs from my personal favorite musical. And while I'd be glad to sing for you, I'm sure your head would explode from pain. My lovely daughter sings much better than I.

Author's Response: Whoopsies, I'm seriously always making these huge typos... it's my trademark, I guess. The mods are very kind to put my stories through the queue! Thanks so much!
