Awwwww.... I LOVES this story!!!! It makes me sad but its so well written!!!!

I'm sure I've read part of this before, perhaps before it was all posted? I've just finished POA again, and I read this in hopes of a similar ending, that James would save Laura, like Sirius and Buckbeak were saved. I thought it awful that he went through all that and she died anyway, and it's even worse because he frightened her into falling. I know the message was that he knew he'd done wrong and she decided not to jump, but I still hate the ending.

Author's Response: Aw, don't hate the ending! Actually, the ending was supposed to signify two things - that James had to pay for what he'd done wrong and that you can't change what has already happened. I refuse to believe that a person can change history!! Anyway, if James had saved Laura he would have been in big trouble with the Ministry - who knows what they would have done. Changing histroy is very dangerous anyway. I'm sad you didn't like the ending - hope you liked the rest of the story in the end. I'm not very good at keeping endings happy - I like the darkness and angst of a shocking end. >_< Thanks for the review!
