Chapter: Not All Stories Have a Happy Ending

Nice one.

I really, like this, how you sort of kind of tie in the resurrection stone with Teddy's parents.

Minor Criticism:

At the beginning, it said that Teddy's year had been going so well...until now. I think the story would have been a llittle more complete if you had explained in more detail exactly why his year took a turn for the worse. it seems a little abrupt to me, i have to say. Otherwise, i love this story.

Favorite Part:

As well as being against the rules, there were plenty of beasts and creatures in the woods that he had heard about, and it would be awfully unfortunate if he happened to come across any.

"It would be awfully unfortunate if he happened to come across any."

I don't know if you intended that line to be funny, but it was. to me, anyway.

Love the bittersweet ending.

Good Job! :-)

Author's Response: Thanks for reviewing. I haven't had a review for this in a long time. If I remember correctly, I think I mentioned Slytherin bullies putting Teddy in a sad mood. I understand what you're saying, though, although I wrote this so long ago I don't really feel like changing it :) I don't think I intended the line to be funny but I'm glad you thought it was, considering the story is kind of sad. Or bittersweet, as you said. I just remember in the first HP book, they talked about so many terrible things being in the forest. The forest seemed to get less scary as the years went on, but I thought Teddy, being a first year, would have heard the rumors! Thanks again!

I aways wondered who would find the Stone...Great story!

Author's Response: Thank you! I always wondered that too, since Harry just dropped it in the forest and left it.

That was really a great story. It got my kinda teary but it was so nice that Teddy met Tonks and Lupin and his grandfather (cant think of the name)
I'll have to read more of your stories!

Author's Response: Thank you! I felt so sad at the end of DH knowing Teddy would never meet his parents, so I had to do something about it! I'm glad you enjoyed it and want to read more of my writings.

This is emily's friend Laura/Ginny. You're story was awesome. I probably wouldn't thought to write that. However, I am in the midst of writing a vampire love saga/ Twilight fanfics., so I exactly don't have time. But you're story is incredible. I once wrote a harry potter fanfic myself, I just never got it posted. But it's abuot when Harry and Ginyy and their kids go for a midnight walk and run into Edward and Bella-if you've ever read the book twilight, it's bloody brilliant, I recommend you read it-and Edward and Bella run into harry and he looks a lot like James, the evil vamp who tried to kill Bell when she was human. Turns outs, it was harry's dad that tried to kill Bella. Long story. Anyway I just wanted to say you're story rock and I know I sound full of my self or whatev and right now emily is writing something to me in my notebook. Emily what r u writing?
-typical stuff you would find in the diary of a fifteen year old.
-oh, ok. wait. WHAT????? Sorry whoever you are you wrote that awesome story of teddy lupin, i've got to go. Emily is vandalizing my notebook.
-it's beautiful
-Laura/Ginny.

Author's Response: Thank you! I have read the Twilight series and I love it. Your Twilight/HP crossover sounds interesting. I've tried writing crossovers before but it never seems to work for me. Well, thanks again for your review and good luck with your fanfic.

That's a neat way to show what had happened to the stone. It just kind of faded out after Harry used it in DH.

Author's Response: Thank you! I wondered about the stone as well, because Harry just dropped it there where anyone could find it if they came to the forest.

^^ I love that idea!

Author's Response: Thanks you! The idea kind of came to me after I read Deathly Hallows and wondered what it would be like if Teddy got to meet his parents.

Oh, I liked it very much. I wondered if I can translate it to Hebrow and publish in my blog (http://www.tapuz.co.il/blog/userBlog.asp?FolderName=litleteen) with a link to this page. For doing that, I need your prenition. I really hope you'll agree!

Author's Response: First off, I'm glad you liked this enough to want to translate it and post it in your blog. However, I'm afraid I will have to turn it down. I am a very wary Internet user and I don't speak Hebrew (this doesn't mean I don't believe you won't give me credit, but there is no way for me to tell if what is posted is what I wrote). Just so you know, I did really consider this before I made a decision. Feel free to link to my story anyway, but please don't translate it. With that said, I'm glad you enjoyed the fanfic!

That was really sweet! It brought tears to my eyes. (It takes a really well-written story to do that, too, I might add)

What an original idea for a story! Recently I've read so many classic Lily/James along the lines of "oh, he's a prat; but wait, now I like him and then we hook up!" so this was pleasantly refreshing. Poor Teddy Lupin. Nice job, though.

Author's Response: Thank you! Glad you like it and thought it was original!
