Chapter: Chapter 25: There Be Dragons

I absolutely ADORED this story. Everything tied together beautifully, and I loved some of the analogies and wording you used. Everything was just brilliant!

Author's Response: Thanks! I expect to be posting the Epilogue within the next couple of days. Appreciate your review.

Thank you for being such a wonderful writer! If ever JKR were to select FF writers to do a collection of sequals, I should hope you'd be one of them. Looking forward to the day when Albus' story is told!

Author's Response: I somehow doubt that Jo would trust another writer with sequels, but I appreciate your vote of confidence. If she ever does, though, I'd certainly be willing to throw my hat in the ring. Thanks very much.

Oh wow, this story's amazing!!! Unbearable in parts, I'd made my peace with some of those dead characters and it was awful to think of Ginny in such emotional pain, but all in all, I really enjoyed reading it!!!

Author's Response: I think writing this story was my own way of making peace with the losses in Deathly Hallows. If Dumbledore was right and the dead we love never leave us, then that is a comforting thought. I'm glad you enjoyed it. Thanks so much!

To start off, nothing impresses me more than an author that can capture as beautifully as you have the complexity of the expanse that Jo has created. Not only that, you've taken the pieces she's given us to play with and written a story that enhances hers in so many ways. I can think of no higher compliment to offer. :)

I've read a lot of fanfiction, and this is truly exceptional. I can't wait to read the epilogue and sequel.

-Nikki.

Author's Response: I am truly humbled by your review. Thank you so very much. I am working on the Epilogue now. It's coming much more slowly than I'd like, but it is coming. Thanks again. Your kind words are very appreciated.

Author's Response: The Epilogue is coming slowly as there are a lot of loose ends to tie up, but I'll hurry it along as best I can. Thanks so much!

Brilliant! Really cheers me up after the events today

Author's Response: Glad I cheered you up (or rather, Ron & Hermione cheered you up). I'm working on the Epilogue and hope to get it posted soon.

I'm happy yet sad that we are so near the end. I can't wait for the last bit.

Yay for Harry at a desk job, although I honestly can't see him always sticking to that when adventure calls.
Great job as always.

Author's Response: I think you're quite right. Harry wouldn't be Harry without some sort of adventure in the offing, would he? Ginny will never be able to keep him out of hot water for long. Thanks for your comments.

Author's Response: Ah, no, I'd never break Ron & Hermione up permanently. That would be wrong on so many levels. I'll try to get the last chapter up soon. Thanks!

I absolutely adore this story, and just the hope that you may right a sequel makes me very, very happy. And then maybe a story about Teddy and Victoire? This chapter was hilarious, Hermione is so hormonal and Ron is so absolutely Ron. I love it!

Author's Response: Yes, what we all do without Ron? His flaws make him so delightfully human, but it's to Hermione's credit that she loves him just as he is. Just as Ginny reflected with Harry, Hermione loves Ron, not in spite of his clumsiness and bluntness, but because of it. Thanks for your comments.

I think this was my favourite chapter yet, and thats saying something. The Ron/Hermione row was spectacular! I really enjoyed Harry and James reliving the triwizard, it's the sort of thing the fun parent does, makes up fantasy games and stories, but James has the best of both worlds because his dad's stories are true. When Albus and Rose showed that little moment of recognition, how do we know that it wasn't those two spirits connecting? The conversation in the waiting room was again so much fun, canaries, you've got to admire Hermione's spellwork at such a time. I have a newfound respect for Arthur too, he's gone through pregnancy with Molly six times, and they're still very much in love, what a man. Well, there was so much in the chapter to comment on, and I've probably only covered half of it because my brain isn't what it once was, but thanks so much for this fic, I look forward to the epilogue, and hopefully, in time, a sequel.

Author's Response: Actually, the "recognition" was meant to imply that the two spirits were connecting. Harry's replaying the Triwizard with James was kind of bittersweet in my mind. Poor Harry never had a childhood, so he probably made up for it when he played with his kids and Teddy. And yes, indeed, Arthur is a saint. He is quite a man. Thanks so much for your lovely review!

some very deep stuff in this chapter. great writing too, can't wait to read the epilogue. it would be great to have a sequal, but as you said, i'm not going to jump up and down yet.

Author's Response: Thanks for your comments (and for not jumping up and down!).

Chapter: Chapter 25: There Be Dragons

I loved the scene where James and Harry played "Triwizard Tournament Task One", and when Harry proudly stated that he was the dragon and his son just had caught the Golden Egg - a tennisball. And Ginny's reaction to the chaos... priceless, especially her remark to not drown James in the tub when replaying the second task in the lake. lol

Very sweet was the scene when Rose and Al saw each other for the first time, and some kind of recognition went between them, as well as between Ginny and Hermione. It felt as if both babies know that they're going to have to master difficulties in future side by side.

It's a pity that the story will end soon, but I'm looking forward to the sequel. Keep the words flowing, Cassandra.

Author's Response: I will definitely keep the words flowing. Thanks so much for your encouragement and support.
