Well, I thought Ron was a great choice for this story, as he's still the one that seems to struggle with maturity somewhat. At first I thought it was a bit OOC of him to be so moody about going to pay respects to a departed loved one (or at least admired, at first I couldn't tell who it was), but with the ending you worked that out for me.

I like your choice of words.

There were three people walking through this winter tableau, one of whom was carrying a large and lumpy package.

I loved the use of the word 'tableu'. It gave the sentence more charm.

All in all, a very sweet story, even if it is a little sad. But you managed to get the feeling across very clearly that death is a rest, and really not so awful... nice job!

Author's Response: Oh, thank you very much! It was fairly easy to imagine Ron moaning about being cold and tired and how, if they wanted to honor Dobby, they could just do so at home. And, yes, I also love that word. It's so quaint, somehow. Thanks for leaving such a fantastic review for me!
