Chapter: Chapter 1

I really liked this, it was very McGonagall. And the addition of the animagus information was made it all the more plausible. I love the idea of transfiguration, it seems to be one of the more complicated and impressive branches of magic, I'm not surprised Minerva took to it. Great fic!

Author's Response: Thanks so much for the review! I just got the urge to write about McGonagall one day, and I'm very happy the end result was believable! I also love Transfiguration, though I have a feeling I would be very bad at it...

Thanks again!

Wow! What an inspired bit of writing you've done... I'd love to see more bits and pieces of Minerva's story.

Author's Response: Thanks so much! I found her surprisingly fun to write, if you can believe it! That tight-lipped smile really grew on me, so maybe there is more in the offing? Anyway, very glad you liked it, and thanks for the review!
