Chapter: Where We Belong

Thank you for the story! It's awesome! I nearly cried reading the part when Alduin and Myrtle found peace, and I really love the parts where you brought in Muggle stuff and Hermione's SPEW! I only regret Hermione did not pop up in the end to tell Teddy what a wonderful job he did with a new SPEW chapter in Hogwarts ;)

I await your sequel! ^^

Chapter: Where We Belong

Thanks so much for this contribution. I felt like I was reading a continuation on the story by JK Rowling herself! Please write a sequel!!!! Other fanfics aren't up to your standards.

Chapter: Where We Belong

You sure had me fooled---I don't know what I thought about the parlyzing potion but I didn't think it came from Ophilia. The snippet about Ophilia's sorting was very interesting. She's such a memorable character. In fact, there are so many memorable moments in this story. I loved the adding of the different names to the obelisk that would be placed by Dumbledore's tomb. I thought it was very clever of you to have the adults really know what was going on with the DA and to use it as a unifying tool. I think the original DA was like that too. I loved this story. I hope you write a sequel although I'm sure you're trying to work through the Alexandra Quick series. Speaking of which, I'll probably see you soon in the third book. Thanks for writing this. It was really enjoyable.

Author's Response: Thank you for all of your reviews. Usually authors get lots of reviews when their stories are first posted, and then few or none as time goes by, so it's always enjoyable to get feedback as a new reader is working his or her way through the story anew. I hope you enjoy the next Alexandra Quick adventure.

Chapter: Heroes

Hmm, I wonder if ghosts do snog:D It will be good to see Myrtle with some friends. It must be hard to be a ghost in the first place but to be a young ghost, with no one else your age around, must be even worse. I was touched that Teddy and Dewey went back into the tunnels to talk to Alduin. It was wonderful to hear that he had come out of the tunnels and the other students were talking to him--even asking him what it was like to be a ghost. Great chapter.

Chapter: Like a Wonderful Adventure

That last scene was such a bittersweet moment--their kiss good-bye. I feel a little sad for Chloe but not so much since, like she said, she was born a muggle and is very comfortable in the muggle world. I liked her analogy to muggle stories where someone goes through a doorway or into a wardrobe and discovers a magical world, but always comes home in the end. And, this is one muggle friend that Teddy can have and not have to hide his magic. I think Ophilia will make an excellent Auror if she can stop flirting with Harry:D Ginny would kill her:P Great chapter.

Chapter: Child of a Death Eater

That was a really touching chapter. It's almost as if Alduin repaid a life debt since his father killed Remus but he (Alduin) saved Teddy. I enjoyed the scene between Draco and Violet. I loved how Harry set up the Room of Requirement with drinks and snacks. I'm sure these past events are bringing up lots of memories for Harry and Ron. I wonder if Harry's warning will be heeded concerning the House Elves. Great chapter.

Chapter: Better Late Than Never

I think the most awesome part of the chapter was when Harry conjured a basilisk to scare off the giant spiders. The very saddest part was Chloe getting run through by the sword of Gryffindor by Slipfang. That was quite the battle. I don't think Slytherin House will ever be called the House that Ran again. The last sentence brought to mind when Sirius went through the Veil and Remus had to hold onto Harry. Great chapter.

Chapter: Things Blow Up

Another exciting chapter! That is so creative to have the ghosts helping out, even though the most helpful ghost was poor Alduin. I don't think I mentioned from the last chapter that I love it when the Marauder's Map talks to people. I'm wondering what Remus has to say to and about Teddy--since Harry's looking at the Map. Somehow I have a feeling that not all of the students are going to get out of the tunnels safely. I loved that you brought Draco in--that was excellent. And I loved the scene between Draco and his daughter. Very well done. Excellent chapter.

Chapter: This Doesn't Sound Like a Very Good Plan

This is really getting nerve wracking. I wish someone would give Harry the Map so he could find Teddy and the others. I'm also very nervous because Teddy's thinking explosives are like fireworks. I'm not even sure if the goblins know how much power they have in those explosives. My fear is that Teddy is going to inadvertantly blow up Hogwarts. Can't wait to read more. Great chapter.

Chapter: Who's Going to Rescue Us?

I'm on the edge of my seat and almost in tears. Thankfully the Aurors have arrived. I'm worried about who else will be killed. And who is the horrible little elf following Slipfang around. I'm worried that none of the magical folk know about muggle explosives. At least Violet has the Map back but Ophilia still has Teddy's wand. I just love this story. Great chapter.

Chapter: Underground

I, for one, was going "No, don't give Ophilia your wand and the Map." I don't know why. I have always thought that wands were very, very personal. In a way, isn't that how Voldemort was killed? He didn't have the right wand, to put it in simple terms. If they get out of this with only one student dying they are going to be so lucky. I don't know what ANFO is but I'm guessing it could be explosives. I can't imagine that Hogwarts and Hogsmeade survived the final War only to be blown to bits by Muggle means. Great chapter.

Chapter: Goblins & Elves

I hope Ophilia is going to be helpful. If Hogsmeade is burning you'd think that someone would figure out something's wrong--like the Aurors. It was a shame to see Honeyduke's go up:D This sounds as bad if not worse than the Final Battle. Teddy is fortunate he can morph into whatever he wants. Can you imagine how it'll be when he gets as good as Tonks was. I thought there were Aurors watching Hogwarts--where are they? Great chapter.

Chapter: Hostages

That was really exciting. I cannot believe that Teddy got as far as he did--although he's acting like Harry would have. I'm kind of appalled that the teachers aren't better prepared. You'd think someone could send a Patronus. It will be interesting to see how far Teddy gets without knowing a whole lot of magic. Although, I have to think back to the 1st Harry Potter book. The Golden Trio was the same age when they rescued the Sorcerer's Stone. Great chapter.

Chapter: When the War Came to Hogwarts

This chapter was totally amazing. I had so many mixed feelings while reading it--all of them intense. I felt very sad when reading about the memorial. I guess it was just remembering the war and all those who died, including Remus and Tonks. The scene with Luna and Violet was incredible. I could really picture and hear Luna saying all of those things. I never really thought of Pansy in that way (although in canon, Pansy and Draco never had a child--that we know of:D) Then, for Hogwarts to be attacked. I figured those damn goblins were up to something but I thought they'd do it sooner, like during the memorial. Again, amazing chapter.

Chapter: Generations

I'm glad you're covering the memorial. I have a feeling if any disrupting takes place it won't be by the DA. I loved the bicycle and the skateboard. It's always kind of funny to me that magical folk find muggles so weird. I don't think we're weird at all. I was glad Kai and Dewey were able to attend Teddy's party. It's strange to think that they are Cedric's and Cho's little brothers. Great chapter. I'm really loving this book.

Chapter: Scars

I was afraid that the DA members were going to have to stand in for the house elves. And I figured Harry would show up. It's so funny to think of him as Mr. Potter now. I'm glad the school isn't pink anymore:D I'm sure that was getting old. I'm also glad the students seem to be broadening their plans for the DA by bringing back muggle items that aren't harmful. I was touched when the other students helped Teddy clean up the pink. The scene in History of Magic class was wonderfun. I'm sure it's the first time anyone's shown any interest in Binns' class. Great chapter.

Chapter: It's All Fun and Games Until Someone Gets Hurt

I was sure on the edge of my seat for the end of this chapter. I wasn't there, obviously, so I didn't realize right away that it was Teddy rather than Flitwick. I was wondering how everyone was going to eat over the week end if the house elves were all on vacation. Where do house elves go for vacation anyway. The fight with Slipfang was terrifying. I hope there wasn't something strange about the knife used to stab Teddy. It's bad enough if it's a regular knife but if it's a magical knife who knows what will happen. I can't wait to see what happens next. Great chapter.

Chapter: Valentine's Day

Wow--things are certainly getting interesting. I thought all of the pinkness for Valentine's Day was really sweet and the boys just have to deal. It was mushy but it wasn't harmful and it certainly won't hurt them to be gentlemen and attend a pink party. Also, the boys receiving valentines was very sweet. The goblin incident was mystifying. Was Harry there? I think he was. Does Harry know more about Slipfang? I think he does. You know, most people don't really like goblins and are a little afraid of them. I wonder if the goblins ever forgave the Golden Trio for breaking into Gringotts. Great chapter.

Chapter: S.C.O.U.R.G.E.

Yay for Dewey for stopping the Hufflepuffs from picking on the huge Slytherin prefects. That was daring but the right thing to do. If I was Teddy I'd be worried. Even though Neville hasn't done anything I'd be waiting for the other shoe to drop--wondering if he'd give me detention again or not. I'm on the side of the students here. I don't agree with the ZTP. It's intent was good but its implementation went too far. I hope they come to some sort of understanding. Getting expelled from wizard school is very serious. There's not many other places to go. Great chapter.
