Ooh! Cant wait for the next chapter!
if only the HP series wasnt just abour harry
and id have thought that may have been an edited chapter
It's a pity you abandoned this fic. Any chance you'll continue it?
Author's Response: Actually, yes. I submitted the next and final chapter ages ago and it was rejected for technical errors. I just haven't gotten around to re-submitting it...it's been like 6 months. I've been working on another story that I like better, though; look for it up on the site in a week or two.
Great story so far. I loved the line at the beginning;
"I heard Ron’s snort of laughter from the opposite side of the room. I smiled in spite of myself."
And are we going to see Hermione destroy the Horcrux? I wonder how she'll react to it...
Hi! I really liked this story. I thought you wrote Ron and Hermione really well.
"conniving goblin Griphook"
-LOL this is exactly how I think of him...
"We defeated a troll, You-Know-Who can’t be much different, can he?”
And about the laughing thing, I really liked it. It was very realistic, because a little thing like that WOULD set them off when they were under so much pressure. Especially Ron.
Overall, great story, and I can't wait to see more!
-Perfect Ron humor. I can see him saying this. Loved it!
-Evester from the Badger Bar
Author's Response: Ooh, hi Eve! Thanks for reviewing...you seriously just motivated me to put the next chapter in the queue. I've been putting it off FOREVER...why, I really don't know. I've just never had the time to make a couple finishing touches. So...I hope it gets accepted!
I LOVE this story!! Fantastic! Please, please update! Can't wait to read more!
I like the discription!!! please add another chapter!!!
Author's Response: Oh thank you, I always love new reviewers! (*hint*hint*) And the other chapter is written and ready to submit...but the queue is closed. As soon as it opens up I'll submit it, I promise.
Write more please!! I wanna know what happens to Harry........and Ron and Hermione.
Author's Response: It's written and ready to submit, i just haven't gotten around to it yet. I will soon, though, I promise.
Author's Response: Oh, I will. It'll be in the queue by tomorrow, and I feel fairly confident it will be accepted as I've run it past three betas.
The idea is interesting. There are some little things that make this piece so-so though. I feel that the characters -Ron and Hermione- aren't in-character enough. They are like...not serious enough. I know you said it was the stress and all but...it is a little bit unlikely that with the battle two feet away, they'd waste a whole 10 minutes joking and laughing about the noises they made as they attempted to speak parseltongue. I'm not saying its bad! I'm saying it was a little over-done. I hope I don't sound mean or anything, really! Maybe it's just me. It's my opinion...
Nonetheless, I really look forward to the second part! I hope they won't waste any more time! I do wonder, will they encounter any other obstacles on the way there? Will the Basilisk's spirit be haunting the place or something? Or will they just go and retrieve the venom? And how will they get the fang out (if they'll take a fang) - because Harry had used the sword...
Anyways, until Jan 3rd, take care!
Author's Response: You don't sound mean at all! It's nice to have a bit of constructive criticism. About the other obstacles...you shall see! (mwahahaha)
Very nice, can't wait for Jan 3rd!
Author's Response: Thank you! It's getting ever closer.....
i really REALLY like it!! i can't wait for the next part!
Author's Response: Oh, I'm so glad you like it! Thank you! The next part will be up ASAP.
DUN DUN DUN!! good story! update soon!
Author's Response: I sure will update soon! (Come on, I'm rooting for you, January 3rd!) (Okay, so I know that won't help in the least, but it's worth a try. Sigh. I need a reverse time turner...) Glad you like it!
Yay. First review.
This is interesting. Waiting to read the next bit.
Author's Response: The next--and last--bit is ready to go up, so I'm going to submit it ASAP. (a.k.a. after the holidays. Hurry up, January 3rd!)
